'VIBRANT, TENDER, STYLISH, SEXY AND OUTRAGEOUSLY JOYFUL' Hannah Orenstein, Love at First Like
25 DATES. 8 MEN. A NATION WATCHING.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SHE FALL IN LOVE.
OMBEA! Bea Schumacher is a devastatingly stylish plus-size fashion blogger with amazing friends, thousands of Insta followers - and a massively broken heart. Bea indulges in her weekly obsession: the hit reality show Main Squeeze. The fantasy dates! The kiss-off rejections! The surprising amount of guys named Ben! But Bea is sick and tired of the lack of body diversity on the show. Since whenis being a size zero a prerequisite for getting engaged on television?
Although Bea has sworn off men altogether, when Main Squeeze ask her to be its next star, she agrees on one condition: under no circumstances will she actually fall in love.
But when the cameras start rolling, Bea finds herself in a whirlwind of sumptuous couture, Twitter wars, sexy suitors, and an opportunity (or two, or five) to find messy, real-life love in the midst of a made-for-TV fairy tale. Bea has to decide whether it might just be worth trusting these men - and herself - for a chance at her own happily ever after.

Critic Reviews
A fast, furious read, one that is brimming with wit but also packs a serious punch. The compelling narrator-Bea Schumacher-won my heart immediately, and Stayman-London's storytelling sizzles
One to Watch drew me in from the first chapter; this book was relatable, incredibly smart and thoughtful about body image and the way the media treats women, and just plain entertaining. I adored this extraordinary debut and had so much fun reading it!
Bea Schumacher is an irresistible heroine, and One to Watch will win you over just as quickly. Its clever skewering of reality TV tropes is balanced by a sweet sincerity and a real belief in true romance. The Bachelor should be so lucky as to land a Bea of its own
A delicious and whip-smart page-turner about the complication of being a complicated woman in the world today
One to Watch is a powerful story about the love we have for ourselves and others. It's a vibrant, tender, stylish, sexy, and outrageously joyful book, and I couldn't bear to put it down for one second
Stayman-London's charming debut is chatty and fun, brilliantly capturing the highs, lows, and drama of reality TV. . . . This smart, delightful page-turner is a great way for dating show fans to pass the time while waiting for the next season.
It is hot. It is sweet. A lot of it is Bea just figuring out how to be a vulnerable human being. It's so deeply satisfying and great...I'm pretty sure it is actually the best rom-com I've ever read
Fans of The Bachelor will love this summer beach read
Just know that if you have ever felt insecure or ashamed of your body in dating experiences, this book will stand out to you. It was a five-star read.... A women's fiction book centered on the issues many plus-size women deal with dating and truly just existing...This book really made me believe that I could find love as a plus-size woman. Or at the very least, it made me want to believe it could happen and actually made me want to try.
If you watch The Bachelor, this book is the takedown we've all been waiting for, and Stayman-London is hardly subtle about it, which I love.... Fun, sexy, and full of heart, you'll devour this book in a day.
Stayman-London's debut is a smart, pop culture-aware update to the romance novel... One to Watch is a novel that succeeds in finding a tone light enough to qualify it as an exceptional summer read, while also imparting a message substantial enough that you'll want to take it into the next season.
The best rom-com I've read in a while... real and raw and very clever... Overall score: A+ (Grace Atwood)
Timely, refreshing and delightful, you'll be rooting for Bea throughout her journey of self-love, drama and romance.

As a plus-size woman, I was worried about what this book would be about. But I really resonated with so many of the feelings and ideas brought up. The shame and hatred for women like me are intense, even the inner thoughts of how the world looks like people like me.
Finding love as a plus-size woman was a very relatable plot point. The idea of setting the story in a romance reality show was even better. Honestly, I don't watch The Batchelor, Married at First Sight, or any other of that kind of shows. However, this view makes me feel represented and heard. As a plus-size woman, I have never felt that I would be even considered a glamorous show like that.
There are so many hilarious quotes in this book. It’s great.
I read this book to complete May's #readingwithmuffy reading prompt. However, I would recommend this to everyone anyway, especially those struggling with body image.
So many feelings!!!
