I don't usually write reviews, but this book compelled me to. The author courageously shares intimate and shocking details of her formative years with honesty and depth. Her resilience, courage, and resourcefulness are both powerful and deeply moving. I highly recommend On Angels' Wings—it's an unforgettable listen.

I'm absolutely inspired by Gloria's resilience and strength to survive this and go on to help others as she does.
This is not an easy read by any stretch and at times I was left gasping and sobbing for this child as well as so many others I wish I could help.
The author's personal recount of her life experiences bring to light the very real presence of an underbelly that is irrespective of any demographic boundaries, existing historically and to this very day.
Evil lurks among us and is hiding in plain sight.

The trauma and suffering this woman endured is absolutely incomprehensible..
To still have hope and goodness as the very seed of her existence is inspirational and admirable..I was shocked and cried several times from her account of her childhood and was filled with anger towards the caregivers and family that were supposed to protect and nurture. I hope they choke on their guilt and denial of the truth as she soars “with angel wings”

I first heard of this book after listening to the Podcast ‘The clink’ where Gloria was interviewed. I wanted to know more and hear how she survived. After listening to her story I am amazed at how she has survived such a devastating childhood and how she could be so let down by her family and in particular her mother.
Considering that the system allowed her father to get away with the absolute cruelty and abuse he put her through, her story needs to be heard by as many as possible so that we can somehow hold him accountable and find some justice for Gloria.
Thank you for sharing your story and I wish you nothing but happier times that you so deserve.
