Brenden Vetch has a gift. I loved Patricia A McKillip as a teenager but didn’t read this book until I was an adult. It was beautifully written and still a wonderful piece of fantasy fiction.

I’ve been looking for a new author after Brandon Sanderson and it’s touch shoes to fill - this book is so beautifully written it really is an amazing listen and the performance is done perfectly as well
