Story
Life is meant to be savored, but that’s not easy with no family, limited prospects, and a past you’d rather not talk about. Still, Callie Smith doesn’t know how to feel when she discovers she has a brother and a sister - Malcolm, who grew up with affection, wealth, and privilege, and Keira, a streetwise 12-year-old. Despite her trepidation, she moves into the grand family home with her siblings and grandfather on the shores of Lake Washington, hoping just maybe this will be the start of a whole new life. But starting over can be messy.
Publisher's Summary
Susan Mallery, number-one New York Times best-selling author of the Fool’s Gold romances, proves there’s nowhere better than Happily Inc to rekindle first love.
Silver Tesdal has a head for business and a mouth made for kissing, and banker Drew Lovato has his eye on both. But ever since he was dumb enough to let her go, she’s kept him at a distance. When the bank turns her down for a loan, Drew sees a double opportunity - he can finance her brilliant, unique idea to rock Happily Inc’s wedding industry and win back her trust.
Despite her reputation, Silver’s not as tough as she seems. Losing Drew nearly destroyed her. Still, his kisses are as tempting as his offer to invest in her business. If she can’t quite get over him, maybe she should get under him and knock him out of her system once and for all.
But her best laid plans begin to unravel as Silver finds herself falling even harder than when they were high school sweethearts. That means she’ll have to come clean about the secret she’s been hiding from him for years - and risk losing him forever.

I'm left unsatisfied
I think the so called 'secret' shouldn't even count as secret at all.... And how is it even a risk to their developing relationship? I just find it so stupid. Logically, I don't understand how Drew would even have the right to be mad about it. I am not going to get into since I do not want to spoiler it for future readers but at least to ME, it wasn't even an issue. I also think the book was longer than it should have been. And I did not particular like that this book had another couple added to the story. Which I didn't really care for. Both couples were really boring. I know that the author added the second couple story to signified a another book in the series or something but at least be subtle and give hints so that the reader gets interested. I just felt like it was thrown in there and it was messing up with the main story line because it had nothing to do with the main couple at all (besides them both being friends with the main couple). This is my first book out of the series and I find all the characters boring and so was the romance. I mean.... there was barely any reasons for the main couple to fall in love besides their short fling in the past. It was all about old feelings--which we didn't even get to see much or any at all. The author should've given us some decent flashback of their brief romance if they were just gonna have the couple still be in love without much effort. There was no development. And I was expecting some good angst and it was mild at best. This book is not for me.

Nice addition to the series. Very credit worthy
A long traveled road to find their way back to each other. Sweet outcome, but they both could have shown more passion to keep it together. For adults they still behaved like the high school kids they left each other as. They both seemed to give up too easily even with their amazing group of friends trying to keep them together. They do both have reasons for their fear of happily ever after. Silvers mom was always chasing her HEA and following all the wrong men and dragging her daughter around with her until she finally had enough and Drew has the mother from hell. Wow, what a witch. She could not care about anything other than using her son to further her own ambition with no regard for what he wants. It is a wonder he doesn't hate all women. It is not my favorite in the series, but absolutely leaves me looking forward to the next in the series. Oh and Drews grandfather has to be the best guy in the world. How he wound up with 2 such heinous daughters is mind boggling.

She did it again!
Susan Mallery is by far my favorite author. I literally come the days until each book release date. This story was wonderful. I loved Me. Whiskers and the use of an adopted child. I feel like that isn't common in romance novels. I look forward to the next Happily Inc novel!

Love the town of Happy Inc
I do love the town of Happy Inc and all the people who live there. This love story was good and I love the backstory and Autumn but it was just okay. I’d read it again just to hear about them and how everyone else is doing.
I look forward to the next one and sure hope it’s about a sexy writer looking for his true love.

Not Quite Over You
I have enjoyed the book but she repeats herself a lot.. I realize you need to explain the background in a book series, but it a little too much.
