About this listen

Random House presents the unabridged downloadable audiobook edition of No Time Like the Present: Finding Freedom and Joy Where You Are by Jack Kornfield, read by Jonathan Todd Ross.

Best-selling author of A Path with Heart, Jack Kornfield invites you into a new awareness: how you can free yourself, whomever you are and whatever your circumstances. Renowned for his mindfulness practices and meditations, Jack provides the keys for opening gateways to immediate shifts in perspective and clarity of vision, allowing yourself to change course, take action or simply relax.

Presenting different paths to different kinds of freedom - freedom from fear, freedom to start over again, to love, to be yourself and to be happy - he guides you into an active process that engages your mind, heart and spirit and brings real joy over and over again. Drawing from his own life, he presents a stirring call to be here, in the power of the now, the present, to work through life's biggest challenges.

wonderful to listen to on the way to work and while stuck in traffic. I could easily do the practices and my day was much more centred!

wonderful and practical

Content was good. Narrator was frustratingly bad.

You'll hearing in the preview.
The tone goes as follows. Questionable, full stop, sign of relief. For every paragraph! So each point read sounds like previous one

Good writing. Boring narration

Miss Jack Kornfield’s voice. This narrator reads clearly but not with a felt sense or understanding of what he is reading. Comes through in his lilting manner of speech, unfortunately it distracts me from absorbing the content.

A mixture ....
