The narrator is actually horrible, he will read through sentences like "with a horrified screech the person speaks in absolute terror as the monster talks to him "hello im a scary monster" the scary monster rasps" with the exact same tone and speed without skipping a beat. genuinely might be the most stiff and robotic performance ive ever listened too.

I genuinely think the narrator just read everything once without a second to think about the pace or what the next sentence might be.

story is good but the narrator ruins it

I was very impressed with ever aspect of this. The characters, narrator, the plot, the world building all 10/10. It's tough to find all these and want to spend your time wanting the main characters to survive. I loved this book and seriously want the next book now. l got to chapter 3 and was putting this into my favourites with HWFWM, Demon Accords and Sylver Seeker.
