Story
Psychologist Margot Scott has a picture-perfect life: a nice house in the suburbs, a husband, two children and a successful career. On a warm spring morning Margot approaches one of her clients on a busy train platform. He is looking down at his phone, with his duffel bag in hand as the train approaches. That’s when she slams into his back and he falls in front of the train. Margot’s clients all lie to her, but one lie cost her family and freedom.

Story
From Australia's master storyteller comes an endearing and engaging novella about a journey as unexpected, painful, intriguing and character-filled as life itself. A cruise was the promise. To cruise away from their troubles. To cruise towards the place where they first met, on the banks of the Thames. A cruise to dwell in their memories together and plan their next chapter. Paddy and Jenny Davern have had a long and happy marriage together in Sydney. Together they embark on a cruise to London, for the last leisurely journey in each other's company.

Every modern city has one week’s worth of food to feed itself. Then it will collapse. Cut off the resources to New York, Sydney, or even a mid-size metropolis, and millions will soon starve. In Zero Day Code we see those immense and open, hyper-complex, networked supercities of the new millennium die. And in the last moments we see their vengeance take form as all the best and worst traits of humanity bubble to the surface.

Story
Every object has a ghost. There is a small yellow backpack - half unzipped, mouth yawning to the pavement, contents strewn around it (a banana, an exercise book, a pair of scissors) - abandoned on a suburban footpath. Ten feet away, the rubber stamp of tyres, resisting clamped brakes, mount the curb and cut across the path. The tracks come to an end at a crippled stop sign. The street, a tree-lined suburban road dappled in late-afternoon sunlight, is calm. But anyone walking past can feel the ghosts: the prickle on the back of their necks that tells them something happened here.

Publisher's Summary
Imagine two worlds at war. In one, citizens with jetpacks and ray guns have colonized Venus. In the other, magic reigns supreme, and history turns on swords and spells. Now imagine they have just discovered a third world.
Our world.
Our timeline of rideshare apps and strip malls is about to become the newest battlefield in the long war between science fiction and fantasy.
In Florida, assassins are hunting down optical scientist Felicia Scurry. Her only chance of survival lies with long haul trucker Bucephalus Troy, who has stumbled into a world he calls Bamalot, a swords and sorcery version of today where magic works and science never happened. In Seattle, YouTube blogger Charity Kong is on the trail of a jetpack-wearing secret agent who broke her heart. And in a sinister secret college deep under Oxford, a failed comic book artist just might have started a Three Worlds War.
Legendary science fiction writer Neal Stephenson teams up with World Fantasy Award-winning author Sean Stewart (Galveston; Cathy’s Book) and Austin Grossman (Soon I Will Be Invincible) to present New Found Land: The Long Haul, a thrilling, hilarious, and mind-bending audio drama in the tradition of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Fast-paced, funny, and deeply weird, The Long Haul is a warm-hearted, rollicking adventure about ordinary people rising to an extraordinary moment.
New Found Land: The Long Haul is performed by Amber Williams, Jay Snyder, Gregory Connors, Izabel Mar, John Zdrojeski, Steve Routman, Graeme Malcolm, John Pirkis, Elizabeth Evans, LJ Ganser, Marc Vietor, Elizabeth Jasicki and features the voices of Allyson Johnson, Carrie Seim, Josh Hurley, Kevin T. Collins, Khristine Hvam, Lauren Fortgang, Nick Sullivan, Raphael Corkhill, and Steve Rimpici.

loved the way they used first person talking and the audio effects makes you feel like your actually there experiencing it rather then someone is just reading you a story.

Great story, excellent reading
Interesting story of multiverses intersecting and leaking into each other that falls a little flat at times. But the reading is fantastic, and the acting is superb.

Fantastic story and productions
One of the best audiobooks I've listened to.
Engaging characters, excellently played, with pitch perfect production too.
A cleverly written and well staged radio play - I hope more audiobooks go down this path of full cast and production.
The story is the kind of complex spec fiction I've come to expect from Stephenson - I'll certainly be looking up the other authors too - and the world building and multiverse concepts are very well handled and easy to digest.
The characters in this piece are really fun and likeable. Lots of laugh out loud imagery and I really wish I had a magic beard.
There's so much to like here. I'm looking forward to the next instalment.

So much FUN!
I LOVED this book. (Full disclosure, I am a huge fan of the genre. I love time travel, Sci-fi, some fantasy, parallel worlds etc.) The Long Haul does not disappoint. The voicing does not disappoint either. Such a great cast, every last one of them doing a stellar job with one or more characters. So thrilled there is more to enjoy. Can't wait to enjoy future instalments. Hope Audible has the same great voice cast and Foley editors working on them as well.

I can see this being made into a great mini series on Amazon. I like the idea of it starting with the bad guys. I'd like to see where the story goes from here as it's got some good foundation set.
