I am left stunned, grateful, thankful. This book has left me emotional. I highly recommend this book. The narration and story are 1st rate. If one has an interest not only in the battle, but aviation history, it is a must. At first his talking about his wife was a bit dull. However they were married 60+ years. She obviously w played a larger part of his life than a single mission.
Thank you, Sir. Vale Dusty Kliess.

Amazing.

This was a fascinating insight into the life of an ordinary man who did extraordinary things when called. Dusty and his comrades were indeed The Greatest Generation. Superb book, well read (excerpt for a couple of minor errors) and I think the age of the reader really added something. Loved it.

Superb personal account of a modest Midway warrior
