Publisher's Summary

Monkey see...monkey do...monkey trouble. The head of ranch security and his first lieutenant, Drover, are finishing up an exhausting morning of patrols when a mysterious caravan of trucks rumbles past headquarters. Going in for a closer look, Hank the Cowdog apprehends a large red box bearing a mysterious label: "WARNING! MONKEY! DO NOT OPEN THIS BOX!"

After running diagnostics, Hank discovers that the goods consist of nothing less than the Pasha of Shizzam, a bizarre little monkey willing to answer to Hank's beck and call. Or is he?

Included in this story are two new songs: "Monkey Business" and "I Can See You Now".

Hot dog: don't miss out on any of Hank the Cowdog's adventures.

Hank Lover!!!!

My family loves the Hank stories. They are great innocent fun, however, this Hank story is a bit on the dark side. The plot has Hank acting sinister, drinking beer with a found monkey and getting drunk. Not a kid friendly role model in my family! Don't know where John Erickson got his inspiration for this book, but it makes me hesitate to think that all of his books are great innocent fun, but rather may need to proof listen first. Some great ones are Watermelon Patch, The Original hank, and Further Adventures.
