Summary

Academy graduate Natalya Regyri stood first in line for her pick of engineering officer jobs, until, at the graduation party, a classmate turned up dead. Now, betrayed by her friends and framed for murder, she must flee beyond the reach of the Confederation...and any semblance of civilized society.

But once again I fell into the characters and their lives only re-emerging once done. A deliciously written pleasure.

I really appreciated the character development and twists and turns that weren’t easy to decipher. There was enough leading clues for me to guess that I had it figured out, but enough wonder left to keep me enthralled.
Well done to the author, and the narrator who delivered a wonderful performance :)
