Publisher's Summary

Holden Scott is the prince of professional football. At least he was before he lost it all...or, more to the point, before he threw it all away. Now he's out of a job, out of the public's good graces, and perhaps just a little out of his mind. So when a friend offers up his remote lodge in the wilds of Colorado, giving Holden some time away to get his life back on track, he can hardly say no. The last thing he expects is to see a beautiful girl in the woods - one wearing a white lace dress who appears in the moonlight and leaves no footprints behind. Is she a dream? A ghost? A product of his muddled imagination? Or something entirely different?

Midnight Lily is the haunting love story of two lost souls reaching for each other in the dark - a tale of healing, acceptance, and the worlds we create to protect our own hearts. It is a story of being lost, of being found, and of being in the place in between.

Contains mature themes.

Beautifully dark and twisted 👏

I went into this book with a certain mindset thinking I could probably guess how it would end....
Yeahhh... I was completely wrong!
At one point I was so confused with this mind f#ck of a book I was seriously wondering what I'd just spent my credit on lol.
But once all the puzzle pieces were finally laid in this intriguing illusion
I absolutely loved the journey this book took me on.
Kudos to Mia Sheridan she hit this one out of the park ☺
This book only solidified my love for Mia's style of writing.
Amelie and Guy did an amazing job of making this unpredictable journey believable as well.
For an different kind of listen this book is so worth the credit!!

You will believe in love more than you ever had. This story will have you captivated from the beginning to the end. Brilliant. Mia has once again managed to leave me with a huge book hangover. Where to go from here...........thank you Mia❤️

Leads you along a dark passage to light

This story was rather beautiful if extremely unusual. You end up not quite knowing what was truth and what was fiction. wasn't crazy about the female narrator. she read the story with pretty much a monotone in most places. The male narrator was good. This is my second Mia Sheridan book, and just good enough that I may read a third in the future.

Confusing...not sure about this one

I have LOVED every other book by Mia Sheridan that I have read, but I’m not sure how I feel about this book. The story was very confusing at times. It’s hard to believe this is the same author who wrote Calder and Finding Eden, and Archer’s voice, as well as the others I have read of hers. I also felt the female narrator (Amelie Griffin) paused and emphasized at the wrong time in the sentences. Not sure I would recommend this book.

Strange

Narration seemed generic. The story was confusing and the character development was weak. Interesting attempt to address mental illness but a prologue might have helped the reader build an understanding of characters and plot.

Sometimes The Ending is Everything

You know how when you get to the end of a book or a movie and you think, "Really? That's how it's ending?" And you sorta feel like you've wasted however many hours of your life on a good book or movie only to feel jebbed by a subpar ending. That's how I almost felt. The best part about this book it the middle. But then again, I'm find crazy really intriguing. Then I felt it starting to take a nose dive and pulled the plug on it 2 and half hours before the end. Somethings you're just better off not knowing.

His Midnight Lily

Another stunning novel filled with heartfelt emotion and a delicately woven tale about the trials and tribulaions of struggling with mental health issues and the fight to be the best version of yourself when dealing with the stigma that society places on anyone who has been insitutionalised. This is the story of two lost and beautiful souls that meet at a point in time when they both need eachother the most without even realising it. It was so complex and interwoven that at times I was struggling to determine what reality I was facing. The narrators did a brilliant job and really helped bring this magical story to a new level.
