Publisher's Summary

The Philippine Sea Plate is the deepest, most unexplored realm on the planet. Hidden beneath its ancient crust lies the remains of the Panthalassa, an ocean that dates back 220 million years. Vast and isolated, the Panthalassa is inhabited by nightmarish species of sea creatures long believed extinct.

Tanaka Institute, Monterey, CA: Angel, the recaptured 76-foot, 100,000-pound Megalodon, has birthed a litter of pups - five females - far too numerous and aggressive to keep in one pen. One solution: a Dubai royal prince is building the largest aquarium in the world and seeks to purchase two of the "runts".

The deal hinges on hiring Jonas Taylor's 21-year-old son, David, to be their trainer. Jonas reluctantly agrees, and David is off to Dubai for the summer of his life - not realizing he is being set up to lead an expedition that will hunt down and capture the most dangerous creatures ever to inhabit the planet.

Underwater adventure with giant dinosaurs.

This one introduces huge new beasts of the deep and they are amazing. The amount of research that had to have gone into this story is very exciting. Alten's book are always adventurous and well paced. Highly recommend.

Excellent!!

By far my favorite of the entire MEG series! I also enjoyed this narrators performance much more this time than I did in MEG Primal Waters. Definitely recommend this book!

Gets you ready for Vostok and Meg 5

Be prepared with your copies of Vostok and Meg book 5 because this book has an empire strikes back style ending. I bought Vostok after reading The Loch and found out it's both a sequel to The Loch and the Prequel to Meg 5 and have finally made it through the first 4 Meg books. It wasn't a disappointing story at all but you need to ingest it's sequels imeadiately after

WOW! Better and better!

What an absolutely compelling story in a long line of compelling stories by Steve Alten! It’s never the bland “here we go again” that seems to plague movies these days. MEG: HELL’S AQUARIUM pushes further (and descends deeper) into a rich mythos rooted in scientific fact and reasonable hypothesis. I will be listening to this one again many times, as with all previous books in the series. Looking forward to the remaining two (at present) and hopeful for more beyond from Steve Alten!

good story!

I enjoyed the story but the narration at times seemed rushed and almost bored! plus every voice sounded pretty much the same! But still - good story, worth a listen!

Great book

This is, as always with the 'meg' series a great book, maybe the story jumps locations back and forth a bit much, but that does not detract from a fascinating story.

If you enjoy the other books in the 'meg' series you won't be disappointed Steve Alten has conjured up another deep sea nightmare.

I am seriously happy that 'The Loch' and 'Vostok' have been released as these will nicely join a few of the Meg books and characters together.

Thank you, please release the rest of the Meg Series soon!!!!!
