About this listen

Arabella Twigg is a very ordinary girl living with her extraordinary family. Her father invents things that never work and her mother cooks food that no one can eat. Her awful brother, Tom, does his best to get her into trouble. Her Gran is a little strange too. She likes knitting with tea bag strings and making weird clothes, but Arabella loves her.

Life was quite boring for Arabella until odd things began to happen to her.

Her mother suggested a day out to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit Shakespeare’s birthplace, because they were both studying Shakespeare plays at school.

Suddenly, Arabella and Tom were transported back in time and met William Shakespeare himself when visiting the old Globe Theatre. They had no idea how that happened or how they would get back home.
