My first impression of the book was actually that the authors were getting tired of the series and this wasn't as good as some of the others. This is clearly not the case however as they crammed so much at the end. It has action, desperate battles, pathos, character development, even humour ("two stacks of cringe" hahaha). The emotionality is intense, and you empathise with what the characters are going though: righeous anger, joy, frustration, loneliness; and of course, the most outstanding thing is the love the characters feel for one another and the sacrifices and hardships they are willing to make for those they care about. It really isn't trite or sentimental but feels genuine.
The only things I would complain about is one, they gave Kay a weird Australian accent. It isn't fitting at all so I don't know what they were thinking.
The main thing is though, the epilogue is too short. They could have easily condensed the first part so we could get more details about what happened after the main story. And there is one emotional scene in particular which I would have loved to have been written, rather than described after the fact. Some more time for celebration and mourning for all the things the reader went through with the characters would have been nice. Even though it's supposed to be the last book, I really hope they make a follow up, maybe a new series which follows another character as don't quite feel ready to give up the world yet.

If you are looking for Litrpg with a little less focus on stats (like primal hunter or Hwfwm) and more backstory and slice of life with a bit of spice thrown in, This is perfect for you.
I would say the first 3 books were the highlight for me but the last book did bring it home.
(semi-spoiler alert). I did find both narrators great but the female narrator was fantastic and I’ll now start to follow her work. There did seem to be an audio issue with her in book 5 though where her sound level was set below the male narrator so I either struggled to hear her or the male narrator was too loud. Only in book 5. Also, not sure why Kaye developed an Aussie accent in book 6? I also wasn’t a fan of the protagonist being a Dungeon rather than a person but it sort of worked. Lastly I have to admit I didn’t really like the “Cassie” character which was unfortunate as she had a large role in this book.
