Publisher's Summary

Do you feel like you have too much stuff? A cluttered space isn't just inconvenient—the truth is it's hard to lead a joyful, purposeful life when the things around you detract from your relationships, habits, and goals. But decluttering is more than getting rid of the stuff you already have. To make real change in your home, you need to look at how these excess possessions got there in the first place. This book examines the acquisition cycles that keep our homes overcrowded and distract us from going after the meaningful things we really want in our lives.

Make Space for Happiness gives you a seven-step roadmap to clearing your life and opening yourself up to all the good meant to come your way. Renowned decluttering expert Tracy McCubbin will help you revolutionize your living space and your mindset by focusing on clutter clearing as a path to positivity in every area of your life, helping you to manifest: true connection, self-confidence, free time, big love, self-respect, real purpose, and lasting wisdom.

We all want to live in homes that are functional, comfortable, and that bring us happiness rather than detract from it. Make Space for Happiness provides flexibility, support, and inspiration as you re-envision your home as the starting point of the joyful life that's waiting for you.

So clever, firm but fair!

Tracy is so on the money with everything she says about clutter and the way we think. The examples always make me think how does she know me so well!! I’m listening to this book for the second time after having listened to Tracy‘s other book twice I really think addressing the issues behind clutter is so important and she does that with such clarity. Honest and to the point. Love it, thank you

Much more than just another self-help book

This is a book that will end up being quoted as seminal since it talks compellingly about the symptom of overconsumption as a reflection of the modern psyche. The author speaks from the point of view of being a pro-organiser…so she’s almost literally swimming around in people’s junk daily, while she witnesses their thought processes, and this has taught her a lot about the current epidemic of clutter collecting and hoarding going on, why we do it, and how to let go of it. She points out that most people supplement shopping for other problems, but that the problems aren’t solved by the purchases and our happiness isn’t increased by owning more stuff. It’s a book unlike any self help book I’ve read in a long time. So grateful to have come across it. Thank you!
