An interesting insight into an inspirational woman

Nothing beats an autobiography read by the person themselves. This was a great listen and a nice insight into the life of someone I truly admire. So grateful it is available as an audiobook.

One big Ad

I think there are some good take aways to learn in this book, but alot of the time it felt like you were listening to a big ad for other michelle bridges products. Multiple times through the book she (Michelle) reads out customer comments of her 12WBT program. I was a little disappointed to be honest.

Not just another weight loss book.

I learned a great amount from this book. Not only about healthy living, but how to Just Fricken Do It. Stop procrastinating, in all aspects of life.

Started ok but then got really boring

Just didn't keep me interested. Started and stopped so many times I eventually gave up

Inspired

I loved this book. The passion and honesty of a possible achievement for anyone drips from the pages. It has definitely changed the way I think about exercising and given me a new future to look forward to in my 50's. Thanks Michelle and good luck to you.

inspiring and informative

While she is a one-of-a-kind, sheer persistent and extremely a hard working lady (that 99% of us could not be) the lessons in this book are clear and doable. She gives a lot of her own life story in a most natural and authentic way but at the same time shines through in wanting to help and motivate people and providing lots of tips to do so, much of it an attitude adjestment. She also mentions the benefits of sleep, relaxation, relationships and how much disease and distress can be prevented by good health. ie new facts we may not have considered. An easy to listen to good, satisfying and inspiring book without being dry or too deep.

Potentially inspiring

What did you like best about Make It Happen? What did you like least?

I liked the upbeat narration. Michelle has the potential to inspire others, however her book is more autobiography than self-help. There are few action steps one can follow. A lot of advice is common sense, mostly about working out, and it tends to be repetitive.

Michelle has clearly always been an active, engaged person with a strong desire to succeed in the world of fitness. Those with emotional or motivational struggles may not find her advice to "just get on and do it" all that helpful.

Positively adore Mish

as one of her original support crew for the 12WBT program, Michelle has been my role model for many years now. This audiobook was great as I've missed her in my ear but she's still in my head on a daily basis. great book!!

Make it happen

A lot of psycho babble claptrap. Best part of book was listening to some Australian expressions . Would not recommend.

Fantastic feeling better book

Listening to the audio book it just put me in the zone enough to motivate me and my son to make even more changes to our eating habits. Thank you for the guidance to be the best we can be.
