Il nome non gli dice niente, e neanche il soprannome, ma la scena Maigret se la ricorda: allorché il commissario alle prime armi aveva cercato di arrestarla, quella ragazzona lunga lunga si era stesa sul letto completamente nuda. E adesso è venuta a raccontargli che il suo uomo aveva trovato, in una villa dove era entrato a rubare, il cadavere di una donna.
