Story
Following the incredible events of Solitude, Vaughn had visions of plying the seven seas with Angela at his side. Then she and fate crapped all over his plans. Bent on discovering the truth about what happened to humanity and the rest of the world's life, Angela drags a less-than-willing Vaughn across the Mediterranean and into central Europe. However, even the overhead presence of a line of levitating steel structures and ships couldn't prepare them for what lied ahead. The size and scale of what they find in Geneva rocks them to their cores.

Publisher's Summary
A team of military special operators. A lost race of advanced beings. An invading swarm of land-hungry sentient robots.
An elite team of SAS special operators battle across the multiverse after a plague of land-hungry sentient robots invade today’s Earth. But, when an aircraft carrier-based counterattack goes horribly wrong, it traps the team in an alien universe with a top-secret group who’ve already saved the world twice. After discovering a dark plot that threatens humanity’s very existence, the two groups jump into action, fighting both on the surface and in orbit in a last-ditch effort to stop the enemy before time runs out.
With the fate of two Earths hanging in the balance, the combined teams must pull a lost race of advanced beings off history’s scrapheap, or humanity will join them in oblivion.
Magnitude combines sleek starships, strange aliens, and high-tech weaponry to pit heroes, zeroes, and a smart-assed battlebot against powerful enemies. Fans of Live Die Repeat, Expeditionary Force, the Bobiverse, and Dimension Space will love the thrilling action in this time-travel multiverse war epic.

Excellent story but …
Really enjoyed this but it made multiple references to an earlier adventure in hell (no spoilers). Really confused me and I thought I had maybe fallen asleep and missed a heap.
Turns out it is book 1 in this series but also book 4 in a previous series.
Really wish I had known this before listening to this as then all the references would have made sense. No point now going back to read the previous series due to inadvertent spoilers in this book. Shame as I would have otherwise read all 4 in order.

Show start but once in catches you completely
Started slowly and a little bit lost with the time jumps but once got into it really very listenable. Used it during my long walks. Only thing is say is it can be verbose at times. Some tighter writing could wipe a couple of hours off it - literally! Going to jump into his other books now...

Initially hard to follow , but it gets better
This is book 4 - follow up to the 3 prior ones. Initially the book is hard to follow, but then the story streamlines. The plot is a little simplistic for my liking, Missed the wow factor. RC Bray as usual -awesome! I miss the edge of the seat plot, but still a great story. Will read the next book though.

Twists, turns, and geeking out in the Multiverse.
Dean M Cole keeps you guessing, takes you down some incredible multiverse paths, and even elevates your vocabulary. My only regret is that I had to work and couldn’t finish this book the day it came out. RC Bray is perfect as usual. The multiverse is an exciting, wild ride with Dean and RC as our guide. Thank you both for an epic adventure. Can’t wait for the next book.

Great use of suspense and sci-fi!
Another enjoyable read in the Multiverse series. That being said, I wish the author had spent more time on the war bot interactions(although there was too much repetition of “Colonel Sanders” slurs from the AI). I would have enjoyed more time on interactions with the lobsters. We never get a good feel for the lobster culture and personality. It seemed like every time I expected a lobster to show up we got in to yet one more caterpillar interaction. Too much time was spent going from one caterpillar fight to the next.
