So I loved the start of this book!!! So much tension, snark, flirting, and sass all of which I loved.

BUT

(Spoiler)

I just don’t do accidental pregnancy books… it’s just not my trope. The main character goes from someone I’d want to read about at the start … to someone who’s basically taken out by pregnancy and becomes less snarky and sassy and more tame. Just not my thing.

I’m sure others will love this book but personally I couldn’t finish it.

As always, this is a really enjoyable book series with great, kind, caring and formidable lead females and other characters including a really great lead male that isn't abusive and smothering. Instead is kind, caring, supportive and loving, pretty ideal in any relationship really, male and female, ff, mm or any whichever way you prefer.

Oh, not to mention an awesome action, romance packed story with a kick arse female lead character and a fantastic narrator to bring the story to life. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Btw, It's always impossible to please everyone but personally I much prefer One female narrator doing all the voices, especially if she does the male voices well as Kate Marcin has done. For me, even if the male voices are a little feminine, I still much prefer this than the typical deep throated surfer male type voice used in many an audiobook. For me, that contrast breaks me out of the continuity of the story, especially if the section being read is from the female perspective with that female narrator doing the male voice only for the book to switch to the male point of view with a male narrator doing the voices. Regardless of whether they are a male or female narrator, Please stick to the sex of the leading character, I much prefer it this way.

I loved this series so much that I have already read it in ebook now I bought the audio format as well (obsessed much) lol seriously Evie is amazing, she is a pocket size spitfire with an attitude and a katana to boot oh yeah haha and Brock omg I can't tell anymore spoiler but gods forgive me but I feel so hot and bothered reading this two activities between the sheets *sighs* I have already read book 2 and can't wait to be able to read it. And The BFF Cass wow I loved the lil dude and Molly she is insane. My first Kate Marcin narrative and woah she is amazing she portrays Evie so well that I can imagine her like in my mind. So good
