Publisher's Summary

When Evie found out she was knocked up with the local werewolf alpha's baby, she thought life couldn't get more complicated. Of course, she was wrong. It turns out she's a kitsune, and along with that rare gift comes untold powers and responsibilities - most of which she'd rather do without.

She's the sole guardian of a broken gate to the Underworld, and all sorts of monstrous creatures are oozing out of it - the kind that think humans are a light snack. As if that weren't bad enough, Evie has 48 hours to bring in a siren who's on the Supernatural Bounty Hunters' most wanted list and who started this whole fiasco in the first place. What could go wrong? Knowing Evie's luck, a whole hell of a lot.

Eighteen and up recommended listening age. Sexy times and cussing are sure to be found in this series.

Great sequel

“Magic Sight” is book two in the Supernatural Bounty Hunter series co-authored by Leia Stone and Lucia Ashta.

I am really loving this series. I thought book one was really good but this book was a lot more exciting. Although this is co-written you are unable to tell the difference between the authors. They have done a fabulous job with executing the book. There is a few little mishaps with the characters doing or being somewhere but it is very minor.

This story continues on where book one “Magic Bite” ends so it is highly recommended that you read that book first.

With Evie’s Kitsune powers unlocking with every shift, she must continue to work with Tatiana to combine her Witch magic with her Kitsune Magic, so she will be able to close the gate to the underworld. But being constantly under attack by the siren or a demon from the underworld, Evie doesn’t have time to rest let alone learn to control her magic. Her new protectors must also train her to stop the underworld from coming through the gate as well. Her baby daddy Brock is always being the watchful, controlling, over protective alpha.

At first I though Evie was going to be this big bada** Bounty Hunter, especially from book 1 where she says that her and Cass are the best. But I felt that in this book she was a big let down. She’s supposed to be this all powerful hybrid Kitsune/witch with the training and abilities that she required from being a Supernatural Hunter. But she is always getting herself injured or nearly killed, but she is just getting ’lucky’.

Having said that I am really looking forward to reading book three “Magic Touch” to see how things are going to pan out for Evie, Cass, Brock and the rest of the group.

I loved this book and I do hope there are more books coming and not just one? The narrative is wow amazing Kate Marcin is the perfect Evie and not so bad as the rest of the characters either thank you.

Too many loose ends

Like book one I was drawn in and captivated and held there throughout the length of the book ... which ended as abruptly as if you walked unsuspectingly through the door on the edge of the Earth and are now dangling out in space and clinging to the doorknob for dear life! I’m all for a good cliffhanger but this ends more like a soap opera with too many loose ends. Did the Author get tired of writing so she just ended the book? In 5 hours of listening time nothing is concluded! For the price of these books this should have been a whole story not just half of it - and what’s worse, the next book isn’t even available yet; and who knows if that’s going to conclude the story! I feel cheated, left with too many questions, and quite frankly a bit ripped off.

To be continued...

Start with book 1 and be prepared to wait for book 3. Very little resolved in this one. I still enjoyed it but it is definitely a Part 2 of ? Narrator did a good job. I like the characters and the storyline but ended on a cliffhanger.

Good continuation

This is a pretty good continuation we start to learn more about what it means that Evie is a kitsune witch hybrid and she gains more of her powers. She's still not sure how things between her and baby daddy are but its very hot between them. The baby is doing alright and Evie is determined to not let it change her life. She gains new allies and friends. I love her interactions especially with her best friend. There are a lot of questions left unresolved in this story and Evie has a lot left to learn and hopefully she can learn it in time or else the entire world is doomed.

She really did me dirty with the Pokémon names

Good book, very original love it all around. The Pokémon references are awkward when they’re having sex though, but it’s funny as hell.

Action packed

I’ve really enjoyed this series. Book 2 picks up right where book 1 ended. This book was full of action and faded paced. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Great Series to Binge Read-Listen

Definetly a must read! This series is very fast paced, which I liked. I feel bad that they main characters never catch a break. This is a series you definitely need to read all at once, otherwise the cliffhangers will drive you crazy. The author knows how to captivate readers!
The Narrator does an amazing job reading!

Great story

Really fun read with funny characters and a independent strong female lead, though I think molly was my favorite. Can’t wait to continue in the story and find out what happens

Funny, witty, and action packed.

I enjoyed the second installment of this series. I’m glad I stuck with it. While sometimes Evie can be a bit annoying I think Cas her sidekick now makes up for it, as well as some of the other characters.
The story can be intensive and have action packed fights at times. I thoroughly enjoyed the intense fighting scenes. The second book continues on with the saga with the Siren. Can the gang fight off the Siren before it’s too late? Check out the series to find out!

I listened to the audiobook and I enjoyed listening to the narrator. She does a great job portraying all of the characters. If you enjoy audiobooks I would recommend picking it up.

Baby momma fights back

So, Evie gets pregnant from a one-night stand and she has magic. She is a kitsune. Book two picks up right where book one left off. The action is fast paced. The romance takes more of a back seat in book 2. They have acknowledged their love. Now the question is should they live together. You know our girl, Evie is being stupidly difficult.

There is the conflict of evil that is trying to enter our world. There is more fighting in this novel than in book 1 and it is fairly good. Evie and Brock are fighting the evil together with Evie running pell-mell into each conflict. I picture Brock running behind her screaming baby momma, baby momma must protect baby momma. There are great new characters introduced.
Cass gets a little of that sex action too, love him on his hover board.

Evie has the magic gifts that keep growing. She has shifting abilities, healing, sensing demons and does not leave paw prints. The authors are dumping so much on her I have to wonder what is coming up. This book does end in a cliff hanger.

not believable

world ending threats are not things one solves with a team of friends. from the moment things got that serious the characters shud have involved and gotten help from more than a small handful of people.
the stakes and actions does not match.

spoiler example:
a group of seal-shifters are willing to break every costum to help out as to not become demon-slaves. this shud be everyone! evry supernatural and mundane on earth shud be willing to at least help.

l feel cheated

I was just so bored by this. the plot is thin. the characters have no debth and the story is tailored at the 15 year old reader - even then I would say it is a waste of money. The book is only 5 hours as opposed to the usual 12 hours listening. A waste of money and energy

Awesome sequel!

I absolutely love this series! Lucia Ashta and Leia Stone combined to write a unique and captivating series with all the action and romance. Evie is still her sassy self learning she is truly Kitsune and Cass finds his women in Tianna. This book continues right where book 1 left off with even more action and romance. The story just continues to develop until the very end. Kate Marcin gives a fabulous performance for this book! I cannot wait for the third and final book! 💕

Brilliant

This is a brilliant follow on from the previous book. I love these weirdly wonderful charismatic characters that just seem to balance each other so well. The narrator as before, brings this brilliant story to life. This story is well worth listening to if you are looking for a bit of easy listening escapism.

Kicking butt

This series is so much fun. You just never know what is going to happen or what the heroine will say! Had some yummy steamy scenes with her werewolf. Just like the last book there is lots of great supernatural action. The authors really have some great characters in this series. Kate Marcin does an amazing job bringing them all to life!
