Duet narration by Jack Calihan and CJ Bloom
Bianca
Screw the mafia.
Growing up, my father was a gambling addict who made bets he couldn’t repay…
So the mafia has been a threat to my family ever since I can remember.
Yesterday I met the worst gangster ever.
He’s a hothead with a temper…
A gorgeous asshole looking to take over Florence for his crime family.
I hated him from the second I laid eyes on him.
Which really sucks for me, since he ended up saving my life…
And now I think I’m falling for him.
Adriano
She was everything I despise in a woman:
Sassy, strong-willed, with tons of attitude.
I hated her the minute she opened her mouth.
So why the hell am I so obsessed with her?
Yeah, she’s beautiful – but I’ve had plenty of beautiful women.
This one’s different.
Unfortunately for me, she’s also the key to a mystery:
Finding out who’s plotting to destroy my family.
Whoever’s behind it all is trying to murder HER to keep me from finding out.
I have to keep her safe, which means she’s by my side 24/7.
And I don’t want to admit it…
But I think I’m falling for her.

I loved Bianca and Adriano. Even though he was broody and quick-tempered, he had intelligence and self-awareness. This, combined with his willingness to grow and other elements, made me love his character and want them together.
I love how different Bianca is from Alessandra. I loved Bianca's character very much!
Having listened to 5 books in the series, it's clear to me that the author has the talent to set each character and book apart from the last while linking them together and keeping the depth apparent.
I enjoyed the story and loved it when the family made appearances.
The duet narration and performance was great. I just don't think CJ Bloom's accent suits an Italian girl. Lucky she's a talented narrator and it was a duet to make up fir it.
Very steamy and great follow-up from first book
