Publisher's Summary

Lucid dreaming is the art of becoming conscious within your dreams. Charlie Morley has been lucid dreaming since he was a teenager and has trained with both Eastern and Western experts in this profound practice.

In this introductory guide, Charlie explains how lucid dreaming is a powerful gateway into the subconscious mind and how it can help the listener transform, improve, and heal all areas of his or her life.

In this audiobook, the listener will learn to use the virtual reality of the dream state to:

  • Explore creative ideas
  • Understand addictions and unhealthy behaviours
  • Heal phobias and overcome fears
  • Forgive the past
  • Live a more-awakened life

half n half

Overall contains a good amount of important information, a dose of science, and a dash of mysticism. The author really should have let an actual narrator do the job as opposed to doing it himself though. Let those people do their job.

Too much woo-woo and internet marketing

Every few minutes, the narrator/author gives a URL to find out more about one thing or another. Much of the book is focused on woo-woo stuff about one spiritual practice or another. There's far too much about how wonderful it will be if you can just do this or that, and hardly any real, hard science or concrete techniques to acheve lucid dreaming - or what, exactly, lucid dreaming is. The descriptions of lucid dreaming are kept very loose, reminiscent of horoscopes. The book is full of wishful thinking, dressed up in pseudoscientific twenty-dollar words. I wasn't impressed, and without any real direction, I fail to see how I could acheive lucid dreaming - or even understand what, at the bottom line, lucid dreaming actually is.

Brilliant insights

Very helpful guide in understanding different aspects of the dream world and lucid dreaming. It is very effective right away. On the third day of listening met the dream shadow and instead of running and being scared like I always am, I managed to embrace it and show compassion to it. Thank you Charlie Morley! 🙏

Good information

If you can listen trough the voodoo and the ‘healing other people in your own dream’.. then there is great workable advise to be had. But that is IF you can get trough ;)
