Story
With Dream Yoga, Andrew Holecek guided us into Tibetan Buddhism’s nocturnal path to lucid dreaming. Here, he offers in-depth instruction in the tradition’s daytime practices. “Waking experience is also a type of dream”, teaches Holecek, “and things are not as solid and real as we think. This insight is what transforms a non-lucid life into a lucid one.” For those drawn to Tibet’s profound teachings for awakening to the true nature of reality - in the day or night - this guide shows us the way.

Story
The Shadow is the part of us made up of all that we hide from others: our shame, our fears, and our wounds, but also our divine spirit, our blinding beauty, and our hidden talents. The Shadow is not bad - in fact it is the source of our creativity and power - but until we bring it into the light this power will remain untapped and our full potential unreached.

Story
Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self is the account of an extraordinarily talented lucid dreamer who goes beyond the boundaries of both psychology and religion. In the process, he stumbles upon the Inner Self. While lucid (consciously aware) in the dream state and able to act and interact with dream figures, objects, and settings, dream expert Robert Waggoner experienced something transformative and unexpected. He was able to interact consciously with the dream observer.

Publisher's Summary
In this collection of guided meditations, hypnotic inductions wake up tracks and teaching excerpts Mindfulness of Dream and Sleep teacher Charlie Morley presents his first ever audio product to help us sleep more mindfully and dream more lucidly.
Based on over 13 years of personal experience and the best of both Western and Tibetan Buddhist sources these tracks allow the listener to unlock their own innate capacity for lucid dreaming and mindful sleeping through transformative guided meditations and explorations of their dozing mind.
Using music from cutting edge producers such as Fybe: One (featured on BBC 6 Music), hypnosis scripts and inductions from Valerie Austin and Katie Glen (hypnosis experts), and binaural technology from Dr Phillip Davis (Monroe Institute board member) this is not your usual 'go to sleep' CD but rather a collection of inspired tracks designed to wake you up to the third of your life that you spend asleep.

buy a different lucid dreaming book
general body scanning meditation. the only lucid dreaming topic in this book is probably in the last 20 mins and its hypnosis... mixing is bad can't hear to his voice cause music and sound effects are to jumbled sometimes.

Too much background music
Love the concept, and Charlie is a refreshing voice without the pretentiousness of trying to "sound spiritual"; but the background music is too loud at best and downright irritating at worst. Could have done without it altogether, or at least toned it down quite a few notches - especially the hippy trippy bit with the background beat in the fifth chapter - that just made me nervous !

Very nice
Would you listen to Lucid Dreaming, Conscious Sleeping again? Why?
I really liked it, the voice of Mr. Morley is very nice. I play it very often.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Lucid Dreaming, Conscious Sleeping?
The beginning of the CD is my fav.
What does Charlie Morley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
It has to be heard to get into the meditative state.
Any additional comments?
I just did not like how is arranged, if you let it flow, you might get very relaxed, if it keeps playing, a track in the end that is very noisy and the music way to moved and kinda rap to be in a relaxation cd, the problem is if you get relaxed and then listen that you might wake up or get distracted by that track. In my case I have to stop it every time before that track. But overall is very good.

Simple and easy to put to practice
I have read this book twice. Now I open it in the middle or wherever and then review whats there. It is just a reminder of how incredible we are and what we can be using LUCID DREAMING. As Charlie would say..... be awake, be aware and be more kind.

Kick start your lucid sleeping
One power nap relaxation & one lucid dreaming hypnosis about 20 minutes each are the meat of this recording. One of my favorites for winding down to sleep or nap.

Listen and get lucid
I love the two upbeat song tracks, I listen to them every once in a while as I'm walking the dog or whatever to keep up my lucid dreaming enthusiasm. Also love the two meditation tracks, great for listening to as you fall asleep. I especially love the hypnosis track, I listen to that track (number 8) a lot and I frequently get lucid because of it.
