Publisher's Summary

I’m going to die on this cliff with only a bobcat kitten for company.

I’m sure of it until the hottest man I’ve ever seen swoops in and makes me leap.

Eli’s made for danger, and he dedicates his life to finding desperately stranded hikers like me.

He’s too perfect to be true.

I’ve fallen hard before and ended up bruised and battered.

I have to resist him.

Not easy when we’re stuck in a tiny tent waiting for rescue.

Somehow, I’m in even more trouble than before.

Can I rescue his heart?

I didn’t think my day would end stuck at the bottom of a cliff with a cute guy like Wyatt.

I’m not complaining.

But he’s fresh out of a relationship, and we’re in danger from the elements.

It’s not the right time to even think about anything more than flirtation.

No matter how much I want to put my hands on his body.

By the time we’re safe, I know Wyatt better than I know my brothers.

Can what we’ve developed survive outside the shelter of the forest?

Lost and Found is a 65,000 word standalone m/m romance featuring two guys forced together on an adventure who find love along the way.

Very Sweet

This one was sweet...
It had some steamy scenes but, focus more on the bonding of the couple, what else you gonna do when you're (whoops can't tell you). But Wyatt and Eli are really cute together.
The narration was spot on I enjoyed it so much.

wildlife finds love

Joseph Thorson did a phenomenal job at bringing the character's of Eli's and Wyatt's come alive. His voice was so inspiring that I felt that I was there looking into their story unfolding.

Joseph brought forth such an powerful, caring, protective, and loving person within Eli. The need to want share himself. The longing for that one great love and to have that love returned.

Wyatt's character shared some of those same traits however, Joseph also brought out the insecurities that he had.

Bad weather, shared tents, brought Wyatt and Eli together and Joseph held nothing back while he gave his all to portrayed these two amazing character's and they journey together to their HEA!

I once was lost

I really enjoyed this story but the narrator not so much. I don’t know if he was trying to sound Latino or Native American but as the character at the beginning mentioned that he didn’t speak Spanish the accent was out of place and a little jarring. The story of Eli and Wyatt was very good. Eli having to overcome the feelings of not being lovable or good enough left over from his childhood was heartbreaking. Wyatt having to get past the betrayal from his last relationship and the fact that his ex didn’t want to let go was poignant. The love of Eli’s brothers and the family they have made was heartwarming. Can’t wait to read about the rest of the brothers.

Sweet love story

I was given a free audio copy from the author and the GRR arc team for review.

Wyatt is a Vet tech who went on hike to clear his head after finding his boyfriend cheating. He tried to rescue a hurt bobcat but slipped and fell off a cliff.

Eli works in the park. His job is to rescue lost campers. When bad weather occurs the rest of his team won't go in and he chooses to go it alone.

He ends up getting to Wyatt but they are stranded for days (4-5) which leads to plenty of time just the 2 of them (along with 2 of the cutest animals) to talk and bond and also snuggle up to keep each other warm.

I enjoyed this book. It was sweet and sexy. I had not read the first one so it can be read as a standalone. Though after reading about Elis very loud and sweet group of foster brothers that are so adorably protective of each other I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. All the characters were very likeable. The 2 MCs had great chemistry that was instant but it wasn't instalove. It felt very natural. I personally loved the story. The first half was literally just them talking to each to pass the time so some might not like it as much if they are into more action but I enjoyed listening to them get to know each other and those 2 fur babies def added lots of cuteness. It's medium heat and medium angst (Wyatt is insecure and has his reluctance after his recent breakup and Eli has his own reluctance trusting someone). Though it may have that slower pace due to the circumstances I never got bored and didn't want to stop listening from start to finish. So I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind a slower pace and who is more interesting in listening to a love/bond develop.

I did leave off a star for a few minor reasons. One is a few things did seem not realistic and had those details stuck in my head as I was listening. Also, I do prefer books with slightly more exciting plot but like I say I still very much enjoyed this. Also, I'm not a fan of assumptions and miscommunication but I could see where the characters insecurities and recent painful past could cause that. So I tried to look past it.

The narrator had a pleasant voice and kept good pace but the performance was just ok. He didn't differentiate the voices and didn't put too much emotion into it. Didn't hate it but didn't love it. It was just ok

Great continuation

This is a great follow up to the first and these can really be done as stand alone but it's always better together for me. The first half is a little farfetched but go with it. Overall it's a pretty low angst and sweet story a lot lighter than the first but I am intrigued to see what happens next for the brothers. Thorson does a good job with the narration and made it an enjoyable listen.

Enjoyable story

Well this story was different from the first this time Eli gets his chance at love and it comes from the last place you’d expect. Wyatt is taking some time out to contemplate and clear his head after a break up but things don’t quite go to plan.
Eli and Wyatt make an amazing couple and the fact that they both have common interests should help their relationship along.
The narrator is doing a great job so far in this series.

This is a brilliant book which I really enjoyed listening to and following Eli and Wyatt as they bond when they are stuck out in the wilderness. Miscommunication as well as past feelings affect their relationship.

Series getting even better

As an old fan of the Emergency TV series whose favorite episodes involved dangerous rescues, this book hit a real sweet spot for me. I loved Eli and Wyatt and their backstories made their connection even more satisfying. The setting was a real part of this story as they get acquainted while trapped in the wilderness and I was right there with them. Joseph Thorson did a great job with all the voices and the emotions that ranged from sheer terror to some steamy good times for our guys. A great story and a great listen.

It starts with a simple rescue

When Wyatt goes missing while hiking, Eli and his trained German Shepherd Uno head out to look for him. But due to worsening weather conditions what could and should have been a simple rescue become anything but....
Joseph Thorson's narration was first class and enhanced my enjoyment of this audio book. This is the second installment in the series and in my opinion needs listening/reading in order for maximum enjoyment and understanding as characters are in the other stories.

Really enjoyed it. Want more history.

I loved this story, and Eli and Wyatt, Uno and Scrabble. The way the relationship developed seemed natural and realistic. I love the way Eli was so casual about doing what needed to be done in the beginning to get warm (shedding all the clothes!) and the way he tried to stay professional. There is a lot of misunderstanding after they get rescued and a bit of a red herring that didn't go anywhere with the ex-boyfriend, but the support of Eli's brothers was great. I would like to have more history, but I love this series. I can't wait to hear more about Braxton. The narration was great, This was a new narrator for me, but he really did a good job.

I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Ok story with good narration

The story was just OK for me - the miscommunication between Wyatt and Eli, (some of it due to insecurities on Eli's part), was a bit tiresome.
I enjoyed the rescue and the hike to safety - there was chemistry between the 2 men. Eli's family and the animals all made for an interesting story.
Though part of a series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone (I haven't read/listened to book 1).
Joseph Thorson made it an interesting experience. While he didn't really differentiate between most of the characters all that much, he had a nice voice and enjoyed listening to him.

Amazing

Super addition to the series by Aiden Bates. Getting lost in the woods has never sounded more appealing. Joseph Thorson did a fantastic job with the narration. Now we must wait till the next brother gets his HEA.

Unexpected Love

There are many ways you can possibly meet ‘the one’, but people never really hope for a traumatic experience being one of them. Eli is in search and rescue, and Wyatt has gone missing, after going hiking. Talk about a meet cute with a great story behind it! 🥾🐶🐱⛰🏕👨🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻

We met Eli back in book one, and learned a bit about him. This book is his story, and we get a deeper insight to all things Eli...and Uno. Uno is the best dog, in a work of fiction, ever. She gets all the ‘good girls’ we can give. Honorable mention goes to Scrabble, the bobcat. Wyatt is trying to get his head wrapped around the ending of his relationship, and of course is taking on all the blame from his selfish ex’s behavior. I wanted to jump in the story and shake him. When his hike turns dangerous, Eli comes in to rescue him. They ended up stranded for a while. I liked the ease in which they found talking to each other, being silent around each other, and eventually moving into more, with each other. I enjoyed reading their story, and the pace at which it progressed. 🥾🐶🐱🏔🏕👨🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻

While this is book two in the series, it can be listened to as a stand alone. I think you’d miss out getting to know Eli’s brother Derek, and seeing a different perspective of Eli, but listening to the first book is not necessary in being able to fully enjoy this one. It is well written, with easy to like, and become attached to, characters. It was great seeing Eli’s brothers again. I enjoy their interactions, and the dynamics of their found family. I cannot wait to listen to Brax’s story, which is next. As always, the last chapter is the first chapter of the next book, and it cannot be found in that book. It can only be listened to in this one. I really like the way this author does that. 🥾🐶🐱🏔⛺️👨🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻

Joseph Thornton did a decent job narrating this book. While he did a great job differentiating between characters, I found some of the voices he used not as good as others. I felt he did better with his narration in book one. That said, I did enjoy listening to this book—I just noticed a difference. 🎙🎙

Found and rescued!

Eli and Wyatt meet in the most scary way. Wyatt lost in the woods and stranded down a cliff. Eli finds him and then there were two. I enjoyed their journey. I love Eli’s loving and protective brothers, the wild cat, the adopted kitties. Eli could’ve been more assertive with Wyatt but they find their rhythm. I have to go find book one to have a better grasp at this series. Awesome narration by Mr Thorson.
