Very enjoyable and thought provoking lectures on understanding and living Catholic doctrine by a man on his way to being proclaimed a Saint (that is someone Catholics believe is already in heaven).
These were televised back in the day, (Sheen embraced the emergence of tv as an opportunity) my mother used to watch them. I had tried to watch them on youtube a few times - unsuccessfully as the production was grating and necessitated sitting down to listen- but the audible format and production is fantastic.
If you are interested in application of theology to the life of man and woman, seek a greater understanding of Jesus Christ and appreciate logic, you will listen to this more than once.

Fulton Sheen was very engaging in this book (and elsewhere). There are some good bits, but I couldn't finish it once his modernism became clear to me. It just doesn't seem Catholic enough, frankly, for something read by an archbishop.
