Publisher's Summary

Sean discovered that words do indeed have power, and agreements are binding in this world, where the Queens of the Fey rule.

Fleeing the burning village of Oakwood, with Feline Moonbound pursuing them, Sean, Fiona Mithrilsoul, and Myna Mooncaller will have to find a way to coexist as they cross the wilds to distance themselves from the atrocities behind them.

The uncertainty of what will come constantly gnaws at Sean. Fiona is with him, now bonded for ten years, but Myna has been life bonded to him. Trying to sort out his mixed-up feelings, Sean worries what might happen with the woman he loves and the friend he pulled back from death’s door.

(This work contains adult situations, that some might find offensive, not least of which is graphic sex. This audiobook is about an overpowered MC, and contains a harem, you’ve been warned).

Slice of Life

This book takes our main characters on a journey with more than a little bit of self discovery and coming to terms with relationships old and new. I found myself laughing and crying on a few occasions and simply love this series - cannot wait for more adventures. Highly recommend you listen.. now.

Daniel Schinhofen is one of the most talented and skilled author's. I enjoy his work greatly . And with the voice acting talents and skills of Andrea Parsneau who makes the characters and world come alive in this book. Whiny bitch syndrom

SO I do like the story, but the main character has a fairly standard issue Ive been noticing in a lot of these sort of books. The Main character has Whiny Bitch Syndrome, with a light case of dumb bitch syndrome. Hes not nearly as bad as some by any means, but the dude has 2 hot girls whom he has feelings for, both of whom have REPEATEDLY FUCKING SAID WE CAN WORK THROUGH THIS! especially his main peace, and all he can do is kick his feet while the second girl is like SHOW ME AFFECTION YOU BOUND MY SOUL TO YOU ATLEAST GIVE ME LOVE! and hes like BUT I HAVE PROBLEMS AND I DONT WANT TO CHEAT ON MY MAIN GIRL! and the main girl is like Nah I can work through this you did SOUL BIND HER you kinda owe her and right now your just hurting her cause she can never love any one else.. ANd hes just like BUT ITS WRONG AND I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS AND I DONT WANT TO CHEAT!! BUT I WANT TO FUCK HER BUT I DONT WANT TO CHEAT!.... And both girls are like YOUR FUCKING FINE YOU NEED TO SHOW THE SIDE HOE SOME LOVE! And he basically just stomps his feet and cries like WOE IS ME THE 2 BEAUTIFUL WEMON WANT TO LOVE ME BOTH OF WITCH IM HOT FOR BUT I WANNA BE MUNOGAMOUS! MY LIFES SO TERRIBLE!

The adventure continues.....

A not so good continuation of the story but I am still looking forward to the next one in the series and hopefully is better than this one. If it wasn't for Andrea Parsneau narration i would have dropped this series entirely.

feels like the book doesn't progress the story

I really enjoyed the first book but this second one was tough to get through. It feels like this book makes no progress in moving the story forward. The main characters whining about his relationships with his life bonded is painful to hear but that is a large part of the story.

Where is the Story??

Truly enjoyed the first book, and this one was decently written, but there was no plot development. This entire book was about their travel and the growing relationship of the MC, but there were no real challenges to overcome and just a few weak enemies fought here and there. Where is the character character development and growth. In the first novel the MC grew progressively, learning new skills and talents, in which this novel was just completely lacking. It honestly left me with the question “Is that it, nothing happened?” Even the ending had me saying “What? That was the end of the novel?” As it reads like the end to a bad chapter, and seemed as if it were still in the middle of the book. Very disappointing. Andrea Parsneau’s performance was great however, though I wish she had had more to work with.

Not nearly as good as its should be.

Performance is fantastic and I'll be looking for more with Andrea Parsneau. The author...not so much. The characters vary in their personalities too much for any reliable representation. I understand that he's going for complexity but it just seems so unreliable. The Main Character is a moron gifted with a 14 year olds dream of power and physicality. The plot plods along with no real direction...Like an on the fly DnD session that the DM hadn't prepared. The sex...whats there is rare and while I dont at all mind some erotica...its not enough to keep me interested on a porny fun level. Apologies to the author...but its not good for the genre...erotica or Earthborn transported to Fantasy Land and given ALL the powers.

Waste of time and money

Schinhofen managed to ruin another series with the same exact kink he has had in his other books. literally. it goes like this. MC struggles to accept banging more than one women. Accepts doing this. Likes it. Then the entire book is just the author describing food. The MC complaining about his feelings in his head "woe is me, why can't I be more like my best friend". Let's listen women #1's problem tonight. describe some food. listen to women #2's problem the next night. drink tea.x100 The characters are basically copy pasted from his last horrible harem novel. the book goes no where! this series is crap. Daniel. just mail order 2 brides. one with a somewhat Scottish accent and another with an Asian bloodline to live your fantasies so your readers don't have to keep listening about it.

this book is not fun.

MC is an idiot. more 3/4's of the book is the bonded women convincing him to accept the situation while he complains and whines about everything. it's too bad, I really wanted it to be good.

Fantastic!!!

Great story and narration! The gang is back! Leaving their destroyed village behind, they vow to exact vengeance on the ones responsible for the demise of their friends. With no real lead on the perpetrators, they start heading from town to town - fleeing prejudice and trying to get stronger for what is to come. This one was fun! If you liked the first book, then you will enjoy this one as well! Note: This story is Haram Gamelit - this genera often contains explicit scenes

Great series

I really enjoy this author and while I have seen better cover art, at least it looks like it is of the characters in this book. Too many times I have seen cover art that was disconnected from the actual book. A great second book for this series and I am excited to continue this story.

It is actually becoming a bit frustrating.

I like the theme and it would be a really good book if not for the fact that the MC is such a prude and his adaptaion issues are unbelieveable. I have honestly been getting more and more annoyed with every „Mina, I love Fiona” and „Not yet”, I hope that in the next book Daniel will finally make Sean more „understanding” and stops him from trying to impose literally every earth law onto a fantasy, irish-inspired world.

Another good book

The story this time felt a bit slow paced for me. I did enjoy it, but took breaks to get through it. I did enjoy the training parts of the book. Andrea once again kills the voices. She really makes books sound much better

Classic DS

Here's another example of a great harem story by shinhofen. It's a very slowburn harem, while building up his characters. Also, Andy's performance is amazing as usual!

Poor sequel

The first book captured my attention and made me very eager to follow the characters that were so well developed. This sequel is torture though. It's just the theee characters going through the same processes, actions, and even conversations over and over. Many lines are repeated verbatim throughout the story. The idea for each step of the story is almost exactly like the last one. It's like the author completely forgot what he had already written and would add a new chapter that's almost identical to the previous ones. I ended up completely switching off and just waited for the cyclic story to end. That being said, I will be buying the next one and I hope it's better than this one.
