Contrairement à la grande majorité des imitations Tarzan, Félifax n'est pas un enfant sauvage mais quelque chose de tout à fait nouveau et révolutionnaire : le résultat d'une expérience biologique, créant ainsi un lien thématique avec des super-héros de bandes dessinées tels que The Incredible Hulk.
