About this listen

Accidents can lead to crazy circumstances, great discoveries, dangerous enemies, and maybe some new friends. What are the consequences of a scientist that opens a hole through space time? Or an exploration starship that is crippled as it dives into the gravity well of an unknown star system?

It is the year 2293. An engineer, Tom Brown, opens a gateway through time. Another researcher in the Mesozoic, a Troödon dinosaur, opens a similar gateway. A stable link between them forms. That’s when things get interesting in both good and very bad ways. The starship Abraham Lincoln and its crew are approaching an unexplored solar system when it suffers extreme damage. It does manage to make it to a safe harbor, but it’s an alien space station. The locals are like nothing one would expect. They are clearly alien, but seem familiar as well. Some are somewhat friendly, others not so much.

It is an uphill battle to bridge the divide caused by misfortune, language, biology, and alien cultures. We are so different, but aren’t the aliens all just folks? Even the ones that are out to get you.
