I love the trio! And all the other characters. Would love to see what happens with the new trainees… please don’t take too long with the next books!!
As for the reader Zara Ram makes the story come alive and has the right level of sarcasm to suit! Amazing skills and put Zara up there with the likes of Marian Hussey and Stephen Fry! Will be looking for more books read by Zara.

The fifth in the Time Police series and just as brilliant as the others – filled with chaos, humour, and everything you’d expect from Jodi Taylor.
Honestly, I didn’t think I’d love anything more than The Chronicles of St Mary’s series, but The Time Police has somehow surpassed it (though let’s be real, I’ll forever pre-order and devour both).
In short, it’s Bloody Bollocking Excellent!
I have no idea where Jodi Taylor finds these obscure historical events but this book - like the others - had me hooked from start to finish. A ghost train lost in Time? Two members of Team Weird trapped onboard, bickering their way through disaster? Pure gold. Meanwhile, Lt Grint’s crew races against the clock, Matthew’s pushing the limits of sanity, and Mikey’s latest experiment does what Mikey’s experiments always do – wreak havoc.
The Time Police universe continues to expand in the best ways, and I can’t wait for the next instalments of TP, St Mary’s, and the recovery agents.

The story though I felt was a bit of a departure from the usual Time Police fare - Taylor is blurring the lines between St Mary’s and the Time Police.
Definite Blaine the Mono vibes from a murderous time travelling ghost train, and R&D mk. 2 with Mikey’s experiments. An emotional rollercoaster in this one!
