To be honest, the main character's can be a bit annoying, especially the decisions she made along the way. But the storyline is very entertaining. The author did not disappoint, there were so many twists in the last few chapters, one after another, they simply blow me away. Definitely worth a listen!

The narrator as she rang so true. Also her son - a well rounded depiction of a child.

The husband.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely.

Although this is a novel in a detective series it felt like the policeman was secondary to the main character - the woman pivotal to the drama. I liked that as it gives the series more breadth and depth.

Enjoyed this book. Only reason not given 5stars is that I reserve that rating for outstanding books. Narrator was great and storyline had me listening non stop into the small hours of the morning.
