Good

Full of bright ideas.
Clear format.
Excellent recipes plus pages of hints and tips.
An American book so obviously there is some American terminology.
The recipes I have tried have worked really well.
A really good recipe book, I recommend it.

Nice One

What a fantastic book. I have made hummus so many times, and loved it, but when I used the recipe in this book, what a revelation. Delicious. I could go on, the peppers, the aubergines, the courgettes, etc, all wonderful. It's like an exhilarating food adventure. Many thanks. Laura.

Awesome

This is withour a shadow of a doubt the best cook book I have ever owned. So much attention to detail. Every ingredient has been thoroughly researched and the the best suggestions are made to achieve optimum results. Yes its American and some of the brand's it suggests ate unlikely to be available in the UK but they tell you why that brand was the best so you can research your own in the UK. I have always been confused by the wide range of olive oil that very I price so wildly. I never knew if I was overpaying for an inferior oil or getting a bargain. I feel I know more now and the book does this throughout with recipes to make your own Sumac, harrissa or preserved lemons if you are so inclined. Really delighted with my purchas

Great

Ordered this book after my wife and I decided to try the Mediterranean Diet. Most vegan and vegetarian diets are very difficult to follow especially after 40 years of home cooking with the occasional take out. The Med diet is much easier to follow and I would say better for you as it does incorporate some animal protein with a lot of whole foods. I have to say this book is jammed packed with a lot of recipes and has been an enormous help in planning meals that are healthy, and importantly, tasty. The challenge with trying to do this on your own is making healthy food

Awesome

I love the format of this book. For each recipe it lists the testing the authors did and list tips for success and pitfalls to avoid. If an ingredient is rare or unobtainable it gives viable alternatives. It feels as though each recipe has been comprehensively tested and snags removed before inclusion; they are America's Test Kitchen.
Yes, this book is american with american weights and measures. Have your conversion tables handy, it's worth it.

Joyful

This book was horribly written, with mis spellings and incomplete r Even an inexperienced cook has more knowledge of what to do than is provided here.

Pretty

This is a solid cookbook. I’ve only tried one recipe so far, it turned out delicious. All the recipes look like they been well researched, tried and true type. I love the helpful background tips like types of grains and rice. Two faults would be larger font for my old eyes and more pictures but I’m a visual person. Other than that this is a good buy.

Pretty

I had found this cookbook at my library, and after having it for two weeks, I decided it was worth the buy! I have tried at least 8 recipe is from this cookbook, and have not been disappointed yet. Not only are the recipes good, but the book is very informative, with additional information on how to choose produce, tips on preparing produce easier, etc. I feel like cooks of all levels could benefit from this book!

Perfect

First off, even though this book was helpful in getting started on the Keto diet know that you will not live on just bacon and butter, but they are definitely included in the Keto diet. After I read this book I did order a couple more books for more in depth information but that is the way I usually do things, I want other ideas and opinions. This book does give you the basics and good recipes.

Awesome

This book was amazingly useful for a keto amateur. I love that there are shopping records that facilitate with the plans! That was the best. I took it to the market and shopped from the book ! This is an incredible book. It gives a general depiction of the eating routine and what it can do. It begins with clarifying, giving insights for progress, shopping records, plans, and test suppers. Very simple to pursue. I began the eating routine for about fourteen days and shed pounds, brought down my sugar A1c and in such a brief span felt like I was progressively wakeful, alert, and physically more grounded with less illnesses. Part of good Keto plans. Simple to make with plans that somebody who doesn't prefer to cook can make.

Interesting

This was an interesting read because I’d never heard of the Ketogenic diet before and that it was developed for those with seizure disorders or other medical issues. I think it’s interesting that the body will function more efficiently than from the insulin response from a carb based diet. It’s nice that there’s a list of what foods to eat and what to avoid. Pretty much with any diet, avoid carbs, drink lots of water, and avoid sugary foods. The coffee recipe seemed a little crazy, adding butter to coffee, but the breakfast recipes sounds very good. I like the section with the smoothies and shakes, they sound delicious and also the snacks which sound like they are so bad for you but are good in this case if you’re on this diet. Actually, all the recipes sound very good, I’m going to give some of them a try.

Deliosous

I love the simplicity and practicality of the recipes. It covers a wide range of menus, sauces, smoothies, deserts, fish, meats and vegetables. Would like to see more bread recipes using coconut and almond flour. However given the many creative suggestions and ideas in the book guess I can certainly improvise by merging and combining menus in the book.
Highly recommend this book!

Great

I have found so many delish recipes in this book! I love, love, LOVE the fat bomb recipes - there are so many things you can do with them! From just a simple fat bomb, to a topping on a brownie or lowcarb ice cream. Seriously. Best LCHF recipe book I've bought yet!

Perfect

There are about 15 Keto cookbooks I would recommend ahead of this one. Compared to all the other Keto cookbooks I have, this one has less dietary information and less recipes. In addition, at least half the recipes are basics that you see all over the place (like kale chips and cauliflower mac & cheese). I also really enjoy seeing photos of the dishes and this book doesn’t have many. It’s not horrible but there are way better Keto cookbooks out there with more information and inspiring dishes.

Helpful

I received this book free to review with my honest opinion. I really enjoyed reading this book there was a lot of great tips on cravings and what they mean and what you should eat instead of what your craving that was interesting. Like If you are craving chocolate you may really need to eat more green leafy vegetables, dairy, nuts, beef, chicken, liver instead for the missing nutrients your body needs. I also really loved how many great recipes there was smoothies, dinner, breakfast, snacks recipes I would love to try. I may try this diet because I myself like the author gets bad headaches so if anything changing the way I eat may help a lo

just the recipes alone are worth the book., I don't do the Ketogenic Diet itself, but I love the sugar and salt reduced recipes for ketchup and BBQ Sauce. Its great!
