Sadly Disappointing
I was so excited for this book to be disappointed. For me, the book felt rushed. First part felt like the same thing just different chapter. Yes, there was some good part but overall it was slow with retelling of information we already know from book one or just been told a chapteror two before. I struggled to pay attention and debated about DNFing as there are other books released on the same day that I alsl wanted to read. In part two, it was a lot better, making up for the first part one. In the end I would rate this book 3.5. I wanted more of the dragons

Excellent Read
This is one I'll be re reading whenever I've got nothing else to read. Now one of my top 5 stories.
The reader did a great job for the character, if anything, in the action highlights she was a little loud.

Who doesn't crave that love!
The connections the bonds it's just so 👌 you feel everything they feel I was wanting to yell at charaters while listening to this and she always ended up saying exactly how you felt the writer really know how to drag it out and satisfy the mind with perfect balance.

3 Days of Roller coaster emotions
The narrators did great in this book, better than the 1st. I love the battle scenes narration and the heightened up and down emotions of the characters. The story was riveting, you cant help but be attached to Violet and Xaden’s story, wishing them to survive despite the new challenges that they have to face in the 2nd book. The wait for the next one is going to be an agony. R. Yarros has a knack for surprising you at every turn of the page and having a cliff hanger ending. You’re satiated but need to get more. Now, I can finally have longer sleep. 😴🥱
