The story highlights how humans evolve our tech to compete against a massive threat of Zodarks. It gave me the sense of growth the whole story and how putting everything into plan eventually panned out into a battle we can win. Loved it.

James Rosone's story writing and Jonathan Davis' storytelling have proven a great combination with this epic saga!

The story is easily one of the best Sci-fi's I've read. Such a complex and intriguing universe that was set up in the first one is explored in this one. Propelled forward by epic action scenes, machine designing and likeable characters. You also have to enjoy the variety of battle scenes too!

When I first read this book, I was so excited for it to come to life in audio. And Jonathan Davis' talent for reading science fiction surely delivered. He makes a great narrator for this series.

Kinda fitting that reading this book is like a rocket engine. Once you start, you just can't stop! Haha.

Enjoyed the first book in the series but the second one didn’t make the grade. Just got to bogged down in upgrades of tech. Some development of Hunt’s character but little else.
Some ridiculous comments such as “there’s an alarm” from a bridge officer when an alarm starts blaring. Humans survived the asteroid event but the dinosaurs didn’t. 😂 I doubt the third book will improve.

Won’t be listening to third book in series.
