Interesting story that kept me entertained and guessing till the end. Some parts were bogged down with dialogue or inactivity, but it wasn't too bad. I think Narration by a different personay have helped in these areas of lull.

Book 2 in this series is another gripping story. Clare is on her last day of holidays about to take part in a charity run when a mother screams her baby has been taken from her pram. Clare quickly reverts into her police Inspector role. The baby, 6 month old Abigail, has a heart condition and needs medicine twice a day. Why was she taken? The race is on and drug trafficking appears to be involved.

I really enjoyed this story and the narration. Great characters and lots of twists. Didn’t want to put it down. Looking forward to the next one!
