Book 2 in this series is another gripping story. Clare is on her last day of holidays about to take part in a charity run when a mother screams her baby has been taken from her pram. Clare quickly reverts into her police Inspector role. The baby, 6 month old Abigail, has a heart condition and needs medicine twice a day. Why was she taken? The race is on and drug trafficking appears to be involved.

I really enjoyed this story and the narration. Great characters and lots of twists. Didn’t want to put it down. Looking forward to the next one!

If you are not sure which Police procedural you are going to listen to Next, definitely put this one on your list. You will find you are involved with the book from the very beginning and kept wondering who is the culprit.
The narrator is excellent and I highly recommend this book.
