Publisher's Summary

Keifer Vassago, the Prince of Dragons, has enough on his plate without adding a brunette with a bad attitude to the mix.

Fate has a way of screwing all his plans, though, whether he wants them screwed or not. One second he's fetching his brother from yet another situation that could possibly compromise the Vassago name, and the next that brunette is grabbing his assets.

Blythe isn't after anyone's assets, though. She's a good girl. All she wants is to graduate from nursing school, get a job, and move out of her hell-hole apartment. What she does not have time to deal with is a sexy bearded man that accuses her of grabbing his junk.

She tries to forget about the encounter, but fate's a cruel bitch.

One second she's a normal college student barely living paycheck to paycheck, and the next she's setting her panties on fire with powers from an ancient immortal dragon. To add insult to injury, she's hearing voices, and none of them are figments of her imagination. Blythe's life is turned upside down, and Keifer forces her to adapt even though she doesn't want to. She likes her life just the way it is.

Not to mention that she wants nothing to do with that arrogant asshole. She doesn't care that he rides a dragon. She also could care less about his stupid beard, and his sexy eyes.

Yeah, who was she kidding? She wasn't convincing anybody.

Contains mature themes.

Good book

This is a good beginning for a new series. I read a lot of books. I judge them by my feelings towards the characters. Whether they are the main characters or supporting characters. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Disappointment and a waste of decent plot

Okay, what can I say about this book. It's hard to explain my feelings for it. I will admit that I just cannot finish this right now. I may come back to it at some point, it is only a little over two hours long. There are some good things about it. I like the concept of the dragons and writers themselves. The makes me nostalgic for Anne McCaffrey's drag and writers in turn, which may be why I didn't turn it off in the first 10 minutes that I can take no more of it even though it has some good concepts. They are completely wasted with things like a female lead to flip-flops from being a bad asked self-confidence woman to a cow-towed ninny who doesn't question anything this strange man answered, including pretty much just kidnapping her from her life at I don't know it's like the writer could make up their mind where they were going to character, which in turn gives the character sort of a multiple personality feel she has no problem showing attitude or telling other people off. But then she backed down and takes orders and at one point, forget everything she believes in. It's like she's the female version of the dude that things with his Dick and that's another thing, this story has so much potential with the you know mental connections between the riders in their Dragon and an the Meridian hearts. However, certain things were disjointed not well thought out, or rather explained. Making some parts hard to follow and then you have the sex which was one of my biggest turnoffs for this book because the sex and sounded like they were written by a horny 14-year-old is the only way to hot up there. They were very crassly worded just the language used in the sex scenes from me was complete put off. Don't get me wrong I'm not one is people who doesn't like sex fiend. I love a good sex thing. I'm a big fan of okay Hamilton and JR Ward and Charlene Harris. I love me some sex scenes. However, I don't like sex scenes in the middle of a romance novel sound like the dialogue was ripped off a two dollar porno. For the first time ever I actually found myself 30 seconds giving the freaking sex scenes because I could not take how juvenile and poorly written. The sex scenes were. I'm very glad this book was part of the romance package and not something I actually had to spend a credit or money to get because I would. I don't know. I definitely would be returning this if I had spent a credit on its I hope there are some of the other fund. This review helpful.

I love dragon stories!

Great narration. Because this story is a paranormal romance mating, there is very little anxiety and doubt about the sincerity of the lovers. Soooo if you enjoy the doubt, constant drama because the human is conflicted about the legitimacy of their feelings, this is not the book for you. If you want sexy, action filled with moments of hilarity give this story a listen.

It could have been good

So much story and development was missing from this book. Really rushed and the story jumps forward (ok I get they didn’t want it to drag) but it ends up meaning you don’t feel emotionally connected. Had a lot of potential and the makings of a great book, but missed the mark.

Also, I’m not normally that bothered by male/female roles in books, but even I got annoyed by the engrained sexism, virginial female, magic d**k hero. Bore off!
