Publisher's Summary

Book two of the award-winning Paradigm 2045 trilogy.

Less than three months have passed since Captain Charlotte Omandi and the crew of Earth’s first starship, the TSS Bladerunner, narrowly prevented an extinction-level event from wiping out humanity.

Omandi knows Earth remains on borrowed time, until she meets with leaders of the Galactic Confederation to convince them that our planet no longer represents a threat. As she and her crew prepare to become the first humans to travel outside our solar system, a string of assassination attempts lead them to an unlikely mystery.

Rejoin Captain Omandi, Misha Sokolov, James Branson, Linnea Sorenson, along with new and returning members of Bladerunner’s crew, as they unleash Omandi’s Daemon in service to uncovering what might be the most heinous crime ever perpetrated on sentient life.

Omandi leadership and faith will be tested like never before as she guides her team to a critical decision. Do they submit to a seemingly unlimited galactic power and secure Earth’s future, or do they risk everything and fulfill humanity’s promise?

Superhuman Star-Trekish Saga continuation.

Nick Podehl as usual brings out the characters fantastically with his naration, His take on the fowl mouthed Russian chief of security Misha Sokolov is especially entertaining.
The captian Charlotte Omandi is a fascinating. because of how her faith plays into the story and the interactions beteween the various forms of life encountered, both natural and artifical.
I would reccomend this series to any sci-fi lover, the characters and their interactions are believeable, there is a healthy dose of humour and it's intelligently written.

I'm very much looking forward to the next installment.

more than a fun and nerd-epic Sci-fi

Nick continues to bring Robert's fun and endearing characters to life. They are all so complicated and relatable and I feel like travelling the universe with them all. This is another satisfying adventure, jam packed full of deliciousness...bk 3, yep in my library ready to go, no stopping now. I'm listening to Paradigm series amid the cross overs with Sentinels of Creation and its so fun...
