The fighting is just like the first book. MC is overpowered and Stat focused. I really enjoyed book one and was excited to see how they would overcome these challenges. Unfortunately chapter 7 ruined it for me. I don't think I can even finish listening to that chapter. It seems completely unnecessary to 'turn a lesbian' and have that weird smut scene.

This book and series lost me when the protagonist, who has the social graces of a flat tyre and the emotional range of a piece of granite, discovered he has a pen!s and instantly converts the sassy lesbian and the demure barmaid into his harem. This book was obviously written for a demographic that I'm not a part of.

Luke Daniels narrates the piece well for what he had to work with and I will certainly look for more of his work.
