Publisher's Summary

Now I'd like to fly that dragon...

Dragons have been chasing me my entire life, and now, my best friend is shacked up with one of them and about to give birth. Normally I’d stay away, but I need to make sure he’s safe. And when I meet Mason, the only person I am worried about is myself.

Mason puts my omega instincts into overdrive and awakens something in me that’s been dormant forever. I hate feeling out of control, but I can’t walk away from him.

The good doctor wants to protect me from my past and the things that I’ve done, but no matter how hot desire burns between us, I can’t surrender. But when old enemies put us all in danger, I’ll need a dragon alpha at my side if we’re going to survive.

great listen

His Dragon Protector by Jill Haven is the second book in the Divine Dragons series. It is a paranormal m/m romance with shifters and an mpreg.... it has angst, suspense, action, and steam. Seth and Mason are fun character a d I really liked their story. I am looking forward to more from this series and the divine omegas and dragon shifters.

Narration by Gabriel Amari is great. Very enjoyable listen. Really was able to lose myself into the story while listening.

Great addition to the series!

Another great book in this series. Now is the story of another divine omega, Seth and his dragon Mason and how they got together in the middle of danger situations, action and intrigue. Of course the interesting plot is even better when read by Mr Amari, because his acting skills and his nice, pleasant voice helped me to immerse in the story and enjoyed it a lot more. Great book!!

Great Series

I really loved reading the book but listening to it was even better! Seth and Mason are my favorite couple so far in this series. Seth with his sass and Mason forever patient. Gabriel does a beautiful job bringing the story to life! Highly Recommend!!

Wonderful Series! Awesome Rom-Com!💗

MMy Thoughts and Review:

This is book two in the Divine Dragons Series, and it was smashing. While I enjoyed book one and loved getting acclimated to the world and the people who are special in this series, book two had the type of MCs readers live for.

Seth and Mason are everything readers love in a couple. In this story, even though fated mates play a role, the snarky, highly intelligent, street-savvy, take no crap, Omega Seth refuses to allow the sexy as sin, domineering Alpha, Mason to dictate what he should and should not do simply because it is in, "Seth's best interests." So Seth leads Mason on a chase, partly to see if he will follow, but also because Seth has unfinished business with his family who he blames for the death of his father. This love/ hate relationship pushed Seth to do something and now his grandfather wants payback... In blood!

Seth and Mason drive each other nuts in this romantic comedy of a sort of enemies to lovers trope, complete with dragon shifters, crazy family mafia drama, and beautiful dragon eggs that hatch into cute baby dragons who then drive their parents cray-cray with climbing and jumping off high shelves and such! *phew... That wasn't a run-on sentence I swear!😂 The romance is there, but the love, the real genuine true love is hard-won, because Mason and Seth have to decide they want it, then they work to keep it. They just don't have it because of fate decided they were mates, even though the draw, passion, and chemistry (of mates) are there. Fated Mates are great, but sometimes I think it's okay to stand up and say you want more and for omegas to say, "You want it/ me, then, earn it. Show me why. Just don't expect my affection because fate said so." And yes, I give this same advice to omegas all the time. An old Dragon like me never tires of helping the fated of today. *giggle...

Great series so far. I love the characters, the Narration is good, the pacing is on point. I highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent Urban Paranormal Romance series. You won't be disappointed.

When your dragon mate chases you

Where do I start!?!?! First of all, this book is quite fast-paced and exciting. On the other hand, two MCs frustrate me to no end at times. I mean I get Seth, he’s young, inexperienced and doesn’t know any better. However he wants Mason and he’s in denial about the fact that he wants Mason. And Mason .. he’s supposed to be wise and patient and loving. But he doesn’t explain all about mating, eggs and all about ABO tendencies. Thank god that it picks up quite fast later in the story. Gabriel Amari is a new to me author but his performance surprised me. It was very enjoyable and colorful. I’m looking forward to next book in the series.

Ok

Seth and Mason's story is good, although I enjoyed the first book better...
It has a good storyline and great characters. But I really found myself wondering about secondary characters and background situations more. But listening to it made me like it a little bit more, the narrator did a great job.

Really good

Seth and Mason are great characters and the narration from Gavriel Amari really brings them to life. I felt like I was immersed in the story as opposed to just having it read to me. The story was full of action and danger but had really great tender moments between Seth and Mason that I loved. It was well-balanced and I could feel for them. I look forward to where the author takes the series next because the writing is really good and the characters are dynamic.

So good!

I just...sigh! What's better than dragons and sexy times? I mean, I do love the whole Alpha/omega dynamic but this just kept the fun times coming. Love it! Cant wait for more!

Interesting series and great on audio

I loved Haiden and Carlisle in the first book of this series and really liked that they weren't here just in a token appearance, but very involved, hence the four stars. I didn't care much for Seth when he was introduced at the end of that book and that feeling continued all through this one. He wants Mason but whines about it all the time, won't tell anyone what is going on, keeps running off and putting himself and everyone trying yo help him in danger. Mason also is irritating here. For a doctor and supposedly wise dragon he behaves stupidly by not explaining things about mating, pregnancy, eggs, alpha/omega dynamics, etc. to Seth and even totally forgets to think about condoms in their first non-bonded encounter. I have a hard time believing in them as fated mates or in a happily ever after for them. Will read the next book in the series and hope to see Haiden and Carlisle and new characters to root for. I enjoyed Gabriel Amari's narration very much. Hearing Mason improved my opinion of him from just reading the book, as I could hear his care and concern for Seth. Seth, however, still does not do it for me.

A little inconsistent

Ok so it's a fun story with a fun couple but here is my problem. How Seth was introduced in the 1st book didn't really follow through for me and the inconsistencies in the story and the world were a little too much for me and just didn't make any sense. I mean I give a lot of leeway and let go of reality with romance and especially shifter stories but if something happens one way it shouldn't change to something completely different and Mason being who he is some little things just really didn't make sense for him not to know. Narration was done ok, slightly better than the first book.

My honest review

My points on this book

1. I like how this book does not follow most gay shifter books.

2. I like how this book picked its The narrator it’s very important for someone like me in my opinion to be able to clearly understand the reader and get lost in his or her voice

3. In my opinion some parts needed work but it did not mess up the story and I like how they added different cultures in the book

When buying make sure you read the description and the sample and see if you like the voice who is reading it to you that’s the most important thing before buying

Dragona Oh My!

This is the second book in The Divine Dragons Series. I would read/listen to the first book before this one for the fullest enjoyment. A charming book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters wonderful. The characters were developed and thought out. Seth and Mason are the MC’s of this book and mates. The narration was good and I can recommend this book as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Really enjoyed

I really enjoyed following Seth while he has a lot of baggage to sort out with affects his relationship with Mason as they have several altercations which leaves to them arguing. I also enjoyed how Mason got Seth to accept their mating while dealing with a problem with Seth’s grandfather. Narrator really brought the story to life.

I enjoyed the story, liked the narration

This is book 2 of the series. It's not bad as a standlone, but there are things that may not be clear if you haven't read/listened to the first book.
I like Seth and Mason's dynamic, though Seth could be a bit bratty sometimes. This story has a bit more bite to it, dealing with family betrayal. Overall, the action, suspense and steam kept me entertained.
The narration was quite good, I enjoyed the range of tones Mr. Amari had for the characters. A good way to experience the story.

Excellent story, but you need to start with Book I

This is a great story of dragon shifters who may die out because they can't have off-spring. This is the second book/audiobook in the series, and you really need to read/listen to the first book before this one so you will fully understand Mason, Seth, and the others. Seth and Mason's story begins in the first book and while this one can be enjoyed by itself, you will be missing the beginning of the story. This book is exciting, and I liked Seth's snarky, self-assured attitude from the first page. He is resisting his attraction to Mason, but that changes when he needs help and Mason is the only one he can reach. But Seth has things he needs to accomplish first, and settling down with a dragon alpha is not one of them. This is a fun ride with fated mates, suspense. a little violence, and strong alphas loving the omegas who have them wrapped around their fingers. I really enjoy the way each book leads into the next. The bit of teaser introduces the next couple and gives you a taste of what to expect.

The narration is very good and really captures Seth's snark and independent streak. All the characters have very distinct and discernible voices.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook from Gay Romance Reviews and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Seth and Mason

Beautifully written and love the new to me narrator. Seth has lost his father and is about to steal from his Grandfather who just so happens to be a mob boss. When he is caught he calls Mason to come and get him. Little does he know he is Masons mate. The couple are so sweet whilst on the run from the mob boss. I want to be pregnant with a Dragons egg ONLY 8 Weeks, and how cute.
