About this listen

Below the English town of Ipswich a tunnel boring team is digging through solid rock when unexpectedly, they break into an ancient cave system filled with animal bones. Strangely, there were also the remains of men, knights in armour, some crushed, and some seemed to have had their bones and flesh melted. And there was one more thing found – a huge egg-shaped ruby that glowed like a setting sun.

Just over 2000 miles away, still trapped on the lost island of Lemuria, Troy and Anne know that the time of monstrous beings long thought only existing in our legends or lurking in our nightmares, was returning.

But they now have a chance of escape – they have found the fabled submarine, the Nautilus. Together, Troy, Anne, the secretive Elle and the huge Viking woman, Yrsa, work together to break free so they can warn the world of the terror that is coming.

Loved the trilogy! Disappointing end for Ann who fought so well to make it home, really enjoyed her character. I hope this doesn't end as a trilogy as I would like Troy to return to Lemuria and find a way get rid of the Dragons?

Bring on the next one!

Wonderfully written by Grieg Beck, read beautifully by Shaun. A tale of terror, hope and love with a whole lot of monsters thrown in.

Amazing! Another riveting story with so many cool twists that there’s no way to get bored. I am already excited for the next one. Now what do I listen to??

The only thing I hate about this author is when his stories end

Well paced, suspenseful, filled with lots of adventures. Sean Mangan's voice was perfect- but I had to speed him up a bit haha. I just wish that the events on the continent were developed a bit more. A bit more information about what was happening all over the world would have been great. Otherwise a great conclusion? Maybe there's another follow up....one can only hope 🙏🏽

Couldn't stop listening!
