Mindy is delightful

I love hearing her read her own work. The story of her "baby nurse" and their relationship was heartwarming and sweet. The poignancy of being a single Mom when you've lost your own Mom years before was not lost on me.

Mothers and Daughters

I was hoping this story would go into more of Mindy's reasoning behind becoming a "solo" single mother by choice. However, I was not disappointed, because it was a great story of how Mindy was coping with raising her newborn daughter on her own without the help of her beloved mother. As a person who loves their mother dearly, I also hope that she will be alive when I have my own children (by choice as a single mom). Mindy relishes in her trademark "ditz" humor, which isn't really my cuppa. Yet, since there are so few stories about modern mothers who decide to raise children on their own (even with the appreciated help of a baby nurse), I enjoyed listening to this easily digestible short.

It was interesting to hear about a glimpse of Mindy’s life and how down to earth she seems to be.

Heart warming and touching

This was such a heartwarming, tearjerking funny story, I absolutely loved it. It was performed beautifully by Mindy. I think I'll check out some of her others.
