Heads Will Roll is an Audible Original from Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon and her cocreator/costar (and real-life sister) Emily Lynne. Queen Mortuana of the Night Realm (McKinnon) and her ditsy raven minion JoJo (Lynne) receive a prophecy about a peasant uprising. Will their friendship survive sensitive generals, chatty sex slaves, whiny behemoths, princes with bird fetishes, and the notion of democracy?

Absolutely Brilliant! Very smart and hilarious! an awesome paradigm of current events mixed with the fantastic mediaeval fantasy world created by and easily visualised by the talents of the voice actors! This would make a hilarious! animated series if ever thought to reach that far

What a rip-snorting, guffaw-inducing, boredom-quelling audiobook!

This original publication is a fantastic way to while away the hours with something light and delightful. A fun performance with an all-star cast (I think I practically squealed when I got to the chapter about the Sirens).

Sure, it's a pretty basic storyline, but it was peppered with wit and naughty one-liners that made up for any lack of storyline finesse. But, who am I kidding here? Those one-liners are the leading star of this audiobook (alongside the fabulous Kate and Emily).

Come for the cast, stay for the hilarious banter.

I've never listened to an audio play like this before, but this was the perfect one to start with. It was so freaking hilarious!! Quite a bit of swearing and raunch, if you don't like SNL type humour steer clear, the rest of you will LOVE it! I went my pants laughing and I will definitely listen again. Telling all my friends about this...

Very American. Nonetheless very funny. Highly recommended although be warned it’s for adults only. You can’t tell when an f-bomb (or worse) is going to drop.

This is the best full cast audio production I have ever listened to. It was brilliant, the characters were engaging, the story line really compelling and it was a full cinematic audio experience. I laughed aloud so often, especially at some of the surprising cameos. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Note it did take me about 2 episodes to get into it but I persevered because of the other good reviews. And it paid off. I hope audible will make more content like this.
