not for me

The overall plan is OK but its impossible to listen to music and the narrative just stops while you walk or run. really boring. not for me

This audiobook is recommended

This audiobook was recommended by my doctor. It provides a unique approach to exercise and explains the theory of why this is an effective regimen.

Mostly Silence

The narrator is fine, but all she does is tell you when to start and stop running. The rest is silence. Being that this is audible, there is no concurrent listening with music or something to distract the mind. I get way more out of the couch to 5k app (which gives the same amount of coaching) and listening to Jody Calls (military cadence) on Amazon music.

Worth the listen!

This book is phenomenal. Awesome guided workout plan to train one as best and start from very beginning. Lots of wonderful information and worth the listen.

Worth the listen

This is the book for you if you ever wanted to set up your own training plan for running a race of any distance. Author outlines exactly how he develops a plan as a coach. Developing your own plan can save you a lot of money!!! Well worth the listen.

Simple and concise!

Love this book. It’s simple, concise, and eased some of my concerns about preparing for my first full marathon. The Author is from FL like I am, so he gets the challenges of running in the heat and humidity. This book is great for anyone who lives a busy life, and wants more control of their training plan so that they can realistically stick to it and succeed!

Found very helpful!

I found the book very easy to listen and understand. I have a better grasp of how to structure my own training plan for myself. I don't have the money to keep a coach on retainer so this book was the 2nd best thing.

Well explained audible

Even if you don't want to write your own training plan (although this book gives you all the tools to do that) this book explains all the terms training plans use. It also explains why and when to incorporate different workouts in your training plan. The book is very easy to understand and follow with a good mix of humor and explanation. It's a great book for anyone who runs half or full marathons!
