Publisher's Summary

They call him the Iceman. The eldest of seven brothers, he is the biggest. The coldest. The meanest.

No one has been able to break through the icy shield Kane Callaghan has built around himself. No one except the tiny, stubborn woman willing to sacrifice herself for him. She haunts his dreams, but he has no idea who she is. Where she is. Or if he'll ever see her again.

Rebecca Harrison spent the last 12 years with humanitarian relief organizations, travelling to some of the hardest hit areas of the world, but none has ever affected her as much as that tiny village in Africa. Because of him.

Fierce and beautiful and terrible, she can't get him out of her mind. Kane. The avenging archangel who appeared out of nowhere, saving her from a fate worse than death. The one she was forced to leave behind.

Worlds apart, they are bound by the events of that one horrible night, though the chances of ever meeting again are too small to dare even hope. Of course, neither one realizes just how clever Fate can be....

Contains mature themes.

Fantastic!!!

What made the experience of listening to Guardian Angel the most enjoyable?

Aiden Snow makes imagining the story easy.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Guardian Angel?

When the main characters figure out they met that one fateful day in the jungle.

What does Aiden Snow bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Aiden Snow is one of my go to narrators. His voice whether in male or female character brings emotion and soul to each book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When they came together.

Guardian Angel

Again Abbie has hit it out of the park. each Callaghan brother is different, from the others. Kane is the iceman, one wonders how he could even think to find a woman, to love and one that would even love him back, He is a super hard man, one that even his family walk around very carefully, yet a soft spoken southern lady, takes him on then claims him in her own right, giving him the way into the family and love he needs.

Too long

WARNING...MAY CONTAIN A SPOILER OR TWO.

Couldn't wait for Kane's story and his happily ever after. I could tell right away his story would be different. I liked Rebecca from the beginning. She was one big contradiction. Seen alot of hardships in the world but still somewhat still naive. She was perfect for Kane. Soft to his hard, light to his dark.

I couldn't help but think that something was missing though. I can't put my finger on it. I found myself fast forwarding the last 2 or 3 chapters. Things were dragged out (last 2 chapters for the wedding!?)

Aiden Snow was fabulous as always.

So disappointing

This book started off so strong, then fell apart. I think it was made all the more disappointing by the fact that I have been so excited about Kane’s book from the beginning of the series.

Rebecca was an amazing, strong women, for a short portion of the story, then she was needy and insecure.

Kane has way more personality in the first book than this entire one.

Also, what is up with the need to impregnate women immediately? It’s starting to feel like some sort of handmaid’s tale stuff.

Strong heroine, swoony hero

The bigger they are the harder they fall, and boy does Kane fall hard!
Rebecca is a great heroine, and perfect for rough and gruff Kane Callaghan. She is strong, independent and despite her small size she is a force to be reckoned with.

“I have no pity for you, sweetheart. Infinite love, yes. Undying devotion, definitely. Unquenchable lust, absolutely. But pity? Never.”

I loved listening to this story. Great narration.

Exactly What I expected

Out of all the Callaghan brothers I was the least interest in Kane. The book only exacerbated that disinterest. I was having difficulty connecting with Kane in the other book. I was having even more difficulty while listening to this book. It's not to say that The story is boring. Rebecca is an amazing woman. She is strong, generous, brave and loving. I had a lot of respect for her but I have no idea what she saw in Kane. He was a big boring lock of ice to me. At times, I wanted to hear more about her backstory and why she was doing what she was doing instead of this "love between her and Kane"

I have no complaints about Aiden Snow. the series wouldn't be the same without him.

She Melts The Iceman!

Kane is the eldest of the Callaghan brothers and is known as the Iceman because of his serious demeanour. He saves Rebecca Harrison during a mission and she in turn saves him and then disappears. She haunts his dreams until she reappears in Pine Ridge. I really enjoyed this sweet couple and storyline. Abbie Zanders gives us another wonderful story about love and forgiveness. Both Kane and Rebecca have had to fight and conquer their demons. I love the way the brothers work with, and for each other, no matter what. Aiden Snow always gives us an enjoyable experience with his amazing voice and perfect narration.

As tough as they come...

This fifth book in the Callaghan brothers saga was about the most mysterious brother, Kane. We've been teased about this deadly silent guy in the first four books and now we get to see what makes him tick! He is on a covert mission when he rescues a woman he thinks is a nun from a roving band of thugs who are devastating a village and killing the villagers. She disappears before he can find out more about her, then suddenly she appears in his hometown where he's recuperating from a gunshot wound. The two of them understand each other's desire to be withdrawn and quiet. It's not long before they start to fall in love, but Kane is a hard-headed man who doesn't think he's good enough for her. Narration was very well done.

WOW!

I love the Callaghan brothers and their wives. Kane and Rebecca make a perfect couple. I love the way the story came together with these two. Stubborn and prideful to the bone. Abbie please keep writing the Callaghan stories. There's so much love 💘 honor, cherishing and not to mention the steamy love making scenes. Diffently worth more than 5 stars.

Guardian Angel

This was the worst book I have ever skimmed through. I wish I could get my money back. All I can say is buyer beware.
