I seriously hope they will make a movie for this series, it's just so good! I love how Lynette Noni uses words. I just have to say, better than Harry Potter. It is predictable in some spots, but it actually helps with the story telling, and it has some cheesy humor, but it also manages to be heartwarming as well. someone please make a movie for this series, I will stalk every bus until I find one that has an add for an Akarne movie.

This book was detailed and brilliant. I have now read it 10 times and still love it just as much as the first time. I highly recommend it and many of Lynnette’s books such as whisper and prison healer! I started reading the series a year ago and I loved it! I have since read all of them 9-10 times this is my second favourite aside from draekora and kaldoras!!!! 😛😊📕📗📘📙📖📚📓📒📔

I think I started the first book 4-6 days ago and I have barely stopped listening. In the car, whilst I’m cooking, when I had to drive, before bed and happily aaalll day when I injured my foot. I continue to be as impressed with the narrator’s creative and skilful mastery of her craft, as I am with the delightful layers to the storyline. I love the relationships between characters in this book, and found myself in tears thanks to the combined efforts of the author and narrator in creating characters, connections and stories that do what great stories do … connect us with the hero’s journey, the way that humans access wisdom and higher purpose, and learn and grow by striving against difficulty. This series is, for me IMHO, one of those series that parents could enjoy alongside their kids … in the same way that both my mother and I (and many many others) read Harry Potter to their little ones, and loved it.
