I was concerned about the duration but was well worth the credit the world building was good the characters were great and worked well together the narrator done a great job I can't wait for the next book was a very enjoyable listen

This book had me in absolute stitches in a fair few of the scenes and I highly recommend. Narrator’s were 100 percent on point throughout adding to the humour with their acting skills. Loved the story and can’t wait for more. If you’re on the fence because of the length of the book, just buy it, I was too and I’m glad I spent a credit. Can’t wait for the next one 🙏

Ok straight to the point the MC is a useless, annoying, whinny over the top protective Idiot for a 23 year old thats like a Californian college Idiot of not knowing how to read a room or life experiences.

BUT! but but but get through at least halfway of the book where the side characters like the Goblin and then Heather start telling him he's and Idiot and to learn to read the room basically carry the story and are way more funny and interesting. Then, it's a great book honestly parts were making me laugh out loud.
So will I give book 2 a try more then likely cause obviously the writer wanted to get past the intro of the story and get to the meat of it and the potential of this new story and worlds. so do I recommend if you know his work yes but you gotta slog through the MC's idiocy for half or more till the goblin girl comes in then its good if not great. If your new then read his other book first and see if you like his writing style and know how great this can be down the track if he puts his mind to it. Honestly I'm reading it for the side characters and the crazie story that's unfolding.
