A story about a second chance at your first love. It's written with such emotion and although there are some comments about it being slow or boring it's a fantastic depiction of normal life if you need to lose yourself and put your self in the characters shoes it's a lot easier to do it in this story than an Anita Blake novel!
10/10 will listen to this again. The narration is amazing they both really get into character which makes it so much better.
I will just say a warning ⚠️ spoiler ahead so stop reading please.

I was devastated about Snoopy having just put my first dog down recently. It really opened some sad wounds here. He was old and it was well written but heck it was sad.
I also found the child loss moment hard to listen to as it hit close to home. Zach does such a good job. His voice catches in the right spots to make it feel like Garret is recounting his story.

I loved this story, written by Emma Chase, and I loved the narration by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt. I find these audiobooks so enjoyable, as I use them as motivation to walk and get my steps up in lockdown. I would certainly enjoy this story if I read it myself BUT the narration add so much to the story in my opinion. Skilled narrators take a fabulous story and make it so much more enjoyable.
Emma Chase manages to write a fabulous and authentic male perspective, which has me chuckling to myself and even laughing out loud at some parts. it is so good, I highly recommend Getting Schooled.

I will listen to pretty much anything Zachary Webber or Andi Arndt narrate, and then to have them together in one book is just perfect.
I really liked this book and downloaded the others in the series so will listen to those next.

Garrett’s cockiness seems at odds with his hardline but compassionate teaching style.
Callie’s parents are awesome and I wish we’d seen more of them.
Snoopy… made my cry so hard my own dogs offered comfort - which just made me cry more.

This story is so well written that anyone who has that obe person that got away and it was amicable, you want them back and be like Garrett and Callie. I loved hiscamaraderie with the kids at school, his family and how real it was witnessing his brothers marriage breakdown a s how supportive he is then Callie is there and they have the strength and support for each other that we all want. the ebb that never loses momentum not to mention the reveal in there just made them more real ans relatable. This story like others by Emma Chase will stay with me for long. Big up to the narrators, they made it seamless.

Really liked the more mature characters in this book over many others in this genre. No angst, just funny and cute. Highly rated, perfect narration. Not one I’ll keep in my library for a re-listen but author continues to shine

Love the whole store i was captivated straight away. This is about a love that was just meant to be and followed them there whole lives it’s about second chances and if you listen to Ed Sheeran’s perfect this sums it all up..... what a great investment of time listening and reading this book
Of course Zachary Webber and and Andi Arndt are beautiful together their narration is a great complement to the audiobook
