I really enjoyed this book. I'm not sure how much the story alone would have done it for me as the narrators elevated it. For me Zachary's narration always elevates. He seems to be able to get inside his characters and express a caring, intimacy and even reverence when called for. Andi Arndt also is so good and can interpret male voices well too. Great stuff

Loved all the characters and story. Definitely a stand alone in the series with only little interaction with other book main characters.
Narrators awesome as usual. So easy to listen and suck you into the work of Laney and Dean.
