I really enjoyed this book. I'm not sure how much the story alone would have done it for me as the narrators elevated it. For me Zachary's narration always elevates. He seems to be able to get inside his characters and express a caring, intimacy and even reverence when called for. Andi Arndt also is so good and can interpret male voices well too. Great stuff

Loved all the characters and story. Definitely a stand alone in the series with only little interaction with other book main characters.
Narrators awesome as usual. So easy to listen and suck you into the work of Laney and Dean.

Sighhhhh!!!! So much love for Emma Scott’s swoony couples, and Dean and Lainey were no exception!! I finished this audiobook with goosebumps and heart flutters, and a huge smile on my face! Love it when books leave me this way!!

I loved this book Getting Played Smalltown boy who loves his way through all the girls whilst growing up and earning that reputation of Naughty
Then he meets a girl let’s that girl go and regrets it, to only remedy that girl he hasn’t stopped thinking about and she has more in her life than when he had that wonderful night
Dean is a wonderful character who when realising he has met the woman of his dreams without realising and his love em leave em play up on them type of guy he was when younger is actually not who he is now or wants to be.
But sometimes your past is always with you and he needs to shake it off
I loved how our female hero Lainie is a single mum with a teenage son and ne we married
Finds herself in the same situation now like when she was 19. Pregnant ! The difference this time is when she was 19 her son’s father opted to not be in their lives. Now Lainie can’t find the man she shared the most amazing night with
Level headed and accepting of the situation at hand, Lainie and her son prepare for the new baby in a new town.
Then our story really begins
Our two reconnect and the fun the laughs and the wooing begins
I especially loved the romance audio book coming over the speakers in the car at the most hottest moment
I nearly wet my pants
I enjoyed all the titbits we learn from Lainie’s blog that we’re throughout this story
Heartwarming , small town wonderful connections with other characters and love between two characters with a teenagers perspective to boot 😍

I loved how this story flowed and made me feels all the feels. Dean is so so so hot and dripoing with that sexy ans he's an advanced math teacher.
The way he and Laney miss each other until that pivotal moment had me so intrigued. One thing I loved so much was the call out when she tries to just abandon the relationship, its changes everthing and resinated. Not to mention her open communication with her son.
Aaaand its a crossover with the Tangled series. *twirls about*
