Fiction Centred Around Real Events

Freedom's Light is a work of fiction, yet reading it, it felt like a factual book. The story centers around the September Eleven Attack and the changes it brought in the life of an average American. Luckily the September Eleven Attack is treated in a slightly impersonal manner, where although people are devastated, no one close in the protagonist's life is affected. Hence, as a soldier, Rob goes on a country mission to eliminate the terrorists and does not have a personal mission to fight against injustice. We are introduced to the highs and lows of a soldier's life and the various threats (both environmental and terrorist) that they have to overcome in the pursuit of their goals. There are losses of lives and many injuries, but, with clever planning and high skills, the objective is ultimately met.

Book about good and evil and about our perception.

Robert Saniscalchi gives us a great reading in Freedom’s Light. It’s not an easy story to go through as it deals with raw human emotions that are triggered by tragic events. This book specifically links the world before and after 9/11 and how that changed our perception of war and good and evil. The story goes through with the war in Afghanistan and Iraq and how that affects thousands (millions?) of lives not only in that zone of the world. It’s not only a war book. It’s about feelings and perceptions, family, friendship, and love. How one event can turn our world upside down in just one minute. It’s touching and heart-breaking and Saniscalchi offers the readers a brilliant piece of writing and storytelling. Sometimes, a book gives us not what we want but what we need. And that’s when the magic happens. Freedom’s Light is that good and you won’t regret it. I’ll surely check the other books by this author

Great audiobook.

Here is a book that looks at war from both good and evil, from both sides of the war. The author does a great job of providing many details and several points of view without confusing the reader and just pulling them in more. It doesn’t take long to really become attached to the main character and want to know what will happen next. While there were some points were more details could have been used but it didn’t really matter since we all know the details. The author does really bring out the story. Each location was well detailed and easy to imagine each. This was really a good story that moved quickly and made for a difficult book to put down. The author does a wonderful job of really brining to life the different points of view and really putting the Good Vs.

Pursuit of Freedom's Light

Robert Saniscalchi has written his third book, Freedom's Light: A Rob and Tex adventure. This book follows on the heels of his previous two; Bullets and Bandages, and My Life for Her. A true patriot, Saniscalchi includes a preface in the beginning that rings so heartfelt today; namely that there is evil in the world, and we must overcome it with good. Rob takes the reader masterfully through the events of 9/11, and presents the stark contrast between the forces of good and evil. What begins as a quiet story about going hunting turns into a gripping drama in Iraq to fight the forces of evil. The beauty and appreciation of nature is a stark contrast that flows well within the story of fighting terrorism and the horrific events of 9/11. A gripping, inspiring story with a strong plot that will appeal to readers who not only like war stories, but want to reexamine history as wel

Osthir audiobook .

Author Robert J Saniscalchi brings us fictional tale, Freedom’s Light, in a very real, honest exploration of good and evil as related to the harrowing events of 9/11—and the aftermath left in its wake.

Saniscalchi’s story introduces us to his protagonist, Rob, embarking on a family hunting expedition within the quiet wilderness of New York State. The peaceful outing filled with brotherly bonding and banter is short-lived, however, as the characters are soon thrown into the horror of the 9/11 attacks and a subsequent military operation. This is all unfortunately foreshadowed by Rob’s warnings, who understands the fragility of freedom and how it must be protected (or the light will be extinguished). A soldier and patriot, Rob becomes deeply entrenched within an elite team called Light Force. The object of the military operation: To identify the source (a terrorist base in Afghanistan) of another possible attack on US soil, and stop it in its tracks.

Freedom's Light.

This story begins in the mountains of Afghanistan where a group of extremists gathers to plan a shocking attack. By Chapter two, titled Bond of Brothers, which immediately brought my mind to Band of Brothers, however, as I read on the chapter took me to upstate NY. By chapter three, I was drawn into wanting to read more and more. The author, even though it is a harsh terrorizing story, the writer does have scenes that are tender and what it does is allows the Listener to relax a bit from all harsh terrorizing scenes. I liked the book. I recommend it to all who like a well-Listener story with good descriptions.

I liked this book very much.

I enjoyed reading the latest edition of “Freedom's Light: A Rob and Tex adventure” by Robert Saniscalchi, and in my opinion, this author writes an exceptionally exciting story with intensity, courage which accurately portrays the talented and well-trained men of the American military.

I enjoy reading realistic and true to life accounts of fighting terrorism. This brilliant story reveals how difficult it is to fight deadly enemies especially those which are extremely hard to find and destroy. I also enjoy reading a fast-paced story that puts the reader right into the excitement of the scene. For example, here is a brief excerpt,

"The light changed from red to green, and the huge bay doors slowly swung open. Rob was the first out, with the rest plummeting behind him, in quick succession.

"Once they were clear of the aircraft, the team gradually began to move into a V formation. Rob could feel his senses heightening, as the excitement and weightlessness of freefall came over him. Downward they streaked, through the clouds and toward their intended target, on hostile, foreign soil.

Something great has happened!!!!

Rob was interrupted from his peaceful sleep by the ringing and vibrating of his phone. He reached over Ashley to grab it, and what he heard coming from the other end of the line froze him, words that took some time to sink in: "Eagle's Claw," the recording repeated over and over. Rob put the phone down. "Damn it! Ashley, honey, you need to get up, sweetie," he said gently nudging her. Ashley was slow to wake but realized something was dreadfully wrong, as soon as her sleepy eyes landed on his distressed face. "Rob, what is it?" "Something bad has happened," Rob replied, frantically searching for the TV remove. "I need to see the news. There's been...some kind of major terrorist event," he said.

Pursuit of Freedom's Light

Robert Saniscalchi has composed his third book, Freedom's Light: A Rob and Tex experience. This book follows closely following his past two; Bullets and Bandages, and My Life for Her. A genuine loyalist, Saniscalchi remembers an introduction for the starting that rings so ardent today; to be specific that there is detestable on the planet, and we should defeat it with great. Ransack takes the peruser stunningly through the occasions of 9/11, and presents the conspicuous difference between the powers of good and fiendishness. What starts as a tranquil tale about going chasing transforms into a holding dramatization in Iraq to battle the powers of malevolence. The magnificence and valuation for nature is a distinct difference that streams well inside the account of battling fear based oppression and the terrible occasions of 9/11. A holding, rousing story with a solid plot that will speak to perusers who like war stories, yet need to reevaluate history as well

Awasome Audiobook

Here is a book that takes a gander at war from both great and insidiousness, from the two sides of the war. The writer works admirably of giving numerous subtleties and a few perspectives without confounding the peruser and simply pulling them in additional. It doesn't take long to truly get appended to the primary character and need to recognize what will occur straightaway. While there were a few focuses were more subtleties could have been utilized yet it didn't generally make a difference since we as a whole know the subtleties. The creator does truly draw out the story. Every area was all around itemized and simple to envision each. This was actually a decent story that moved rapidly and made for a troublesome book to put down. The creator makes a superb showing of truly tenderizing to life the various perspectives and truly putting the Good Vs.

A book about good!

Robert Saniscalchi gives us an incredible perusing in Freedom's Light. It is anything but a simple story to experience as it manages crude human feelings that are set off by sad occasions. This book explicitly interfaces the world when 9/11 and how that changed our impression of war and great and fiendishness. The story proceeds with the war in Afghanistan and Iraq and how that influences thousands (millions?) of lives not just in that zone of the world. It's not just a war book. It's about sentiments and discernments, family, kinship, and love. How one occasion can flip around our reality in only one moment. It's contacting and appalling and Saniscalchi offers the perusers a splendid bit of composing and narrating. Here and there, a book gives us not what we need but rather what we need. Furthermore, that is the point at which the enchantment occurs. Opportunity's Light is that acceptable and you will love it. I'll definitely check different books by this writer
