About this listen

The Complete Series...

Rob was a police officer in sunny California. He was tired of dealing with trust fund babies and kids with more money than common sense.

When he learns that his life would come to an end in six hours but a beautiful goddess gives him the chance to live out the rest of his life in another universe where time works differently he jumps at it.

Now he finds himself as a lawman in a frontier town full of beastkin, elves, and orcs.

He is completely outclassed in terms of strength, speed, and durability. Oh and he can't use any of their magic.

But he does have one advantage. His stats aren't capped like the races of the Olimero. As an outsider he has limitless potential. Looks like it is time to train if he wants to live long enough to enjoy his new home, not to mention the beautiful monster girls.

Narrated in duet style.

Brilliant narration as always from Daniel and Rebecca. Their pairing always has such fantastic quality as voice actors, letting you really clearly know which character is which, and they have a very easy to listen to natural pacing.

Starts off as a good pace, and the growth of the main characters stats feel methodical. It gets rather derailed after the first few books to a point where it feels almost like there's no consequences at all to any actions characters take though, since Rob always has an epiphany to get new skills or stats to make whatever hes facing easy. It does get REALLY old listening to I AM A BODY CULTIVATOR, during every internal monologue, and Lena's character becomes almost a joke by the end which is sad. She starts off cute and uncertain, by the end literally everything is about sex. all of it. She has next to no other character traits.

Besides those flaws though, It kept me gripped from beginning to end, with the world building and slow relationship building with every character except Lena. Josie is definitely best girl, and frequently is the main one who puts rob in his place. I do recommend this book, but make sure you have headphones on, since it is one of those books.

I AM A BODY CULTIVATOR

In the beginning books the story and progression is at a reasonable pace, focusing on a person in a strange new world, it keeps this pace for about 3 books before becoming stupid in the progression of the main character. The ‘struggles’ he faces are laughable and half of his skills, abilities, or items are just forgotten to build ‘tension’.
It’s only redeeming property is all 8 books are here for the price of 1.

Starts good, ending rushed
