About this listen

In eight years Marlon James will be one of the brightest rising stars in the music industry. Bristol Gray will be his tough, no-nonsense manager.

But when they first meet, she's a college student finding her way in the world, and he's an artist determined to make his way in it.

From completely different worlds, all the things that should separate them only draw them closer.

It's a beautiful beginning, but where will the story end?

Contains mature themes.

In such a short book it’s already addressing and covering some very important topics in open conversations which I think is incredible!
Has definitely been left on a cliffhanger however for a prequel/novella it got to the point and still told the story.
My first Kennedy Ryan book and I’m excited to get through the rest of the series!

This book was sweet edged with grit…it is the beginning of a much larger conversation. The characters are all multi dimensional. So many issues are covered throughout this Grip Series. I found myself giggling to full out sobs!
The key to this relationship is honest communication. So much can be learned from this series.
